The woolwax spray kit you can buy is worth it. I thought it would be a pain, messy, etc. but it was super easy and relatively clean. I think it's worth picking up, unless you get a good deal with your buddy.

What tips would you have for someone starting a youtube channel?

The most important thing by far is the record button. Get started right away and figure it out as you go. Study other channels that are succeeding with what you want to do and don't try to reinvent the wheel - pay attention to topics, thumbnail design, titles, video length, editing styles etc. Don't copy anyone but taking inspiration from what is proven to work is a smart move!

2nd gen tundra with the 2uz 07-09 are hidden gems. But most people like the power from the 3ur.
For merch ideas you could always brand it with C.G. with emphasis on a gear?

Did the TH-cam growth start to pick up once you shifted more toward talking directly to the camera on various topics maybe a year-ish ago? Seems like that personalizes the channel a lot more, so that's my guess. This was interesting.

@@CanadianGearhead I know someone that had a 5.7L put in their 5th gen. this is why I say the 5.7 is offered not not already installed. the lady had to ask for them to put it in when she bought her 5th gen new.
