Music in Our Time 2024: A Bouquet of Jewish Choral Music

With music of five Pulitzer Prize-winning composers, and a host of distinguished colleagues, young and old, this concert has a wide-range of musical styles, all with Jewish content, all performed by the New York Virtuoso Singers, Harold Rosenbaum, conductor.
Music by Yehudi Wyner, Aaron Jay Kernis, Shulamit Ran, Ellen Taaffe Zwilich (world premiere), Samuel Adler, Alex Weiser, Natasha Hirschhorn, Gerald Cohen, Alex Guerrero, Joel Mandelbaum, and Leon Hyman.
This performance took place at the Center for Jewish History in New York City, produced by the American Society for Jewish Music and co-sponsored by the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research and the Leo Baeck Institute.
The Music Our Time concerts are an ongoing series of performances, presented by the American Society for Jewish Music, that showcases music with Jewish content of the 20th and 21st centuries.
