Its amazing if you look back on history, N196AJ was formerly N556PE for both Panam and Delta back in the day, she left the skies in 2017 from Amerijet and scrapped in 2020 by the US Marshall service. Some of the Mexico National Guard 727s also flew for Panam which still fly today. Miss those old days...
Thanks for the tutorial series. It's been over 2 years since I flew a sim 27 (The FJS for X Plane) so I needed a refresher. The managed cockpit modes for this version is really nice. Even for an old bird it climbs quite quickly and it has a very fast cruise of m 0.82+. I've only done some reconnaissance flights so far in this version with a takeoff and climb to cruise, but she handles very nicely. I'm excited to do a full flight with her. I was watching your INS tutorial in this series so I might try that over a VOR to VOR.
There is a "Warning Horn Cut-Out" pull tab in the 727 aft on the center pedistal so the FE can pull it when the Capt pulls the throttles to idle. It silences the gear warning horn on the descent.
Hey British Avgeek! Thanks for the wonderful series to get us flight simmers into the 727F! She is beautiful! Only issue that seems to be an MSFS issue (according to users in the group) that Ive noticed related to the video is my aircraft struggling to pick up a VOR signal while in cruise making it difficult to gauge my descent start making so I have to rely on the INS waypoint for T/D. Any ideas?
Thanks for the series, learning the aircraft and this helped !

Thanks for this series. It's a big help.
Thank you I really enjoyed the tutorials and learned a lot.
Greetings: Good show. Thx 4 the share.
Great series. Need a tutorial on how to use the auto pilot to fly the ILS.

Very nice series, love it.... is there a way to fly a direct to?

Master radio CB switches on? L behind cpt seat.
How do your get your distance equipment on my plane I have a Garmin 530 but the rest of that panel infront of the throttles is blank
hi, I cannot make the NAV work, it dosent recieve the VOR frequency, the switch is in NAV, and the frequency is active in both NAV 1 and 2
why is altitude reminder set to FL330 and you are cruising FL320?
