Every time you've guessed Xiaojun you were right. I think it's really just YangYang and Kun that you're mixing up. Kun is vocal line, so he will have lots of lines and some high notes. YangYang is the main rapper, so typically he's seen for rap parts but sometimes he sings instead. He has less lines though so even if he's singing you'll see him less than Kun, and he won't sing any highs

I think you'll eventually recognise their faces regardless of their hair, but before that it's easier to find out who's who by their parts during a performance. You have Lucas and Ten down. So you remember that -Kun & Xiaojun are going to be doing the big vocal moments with XJ having BROWS and doing the high notes. -Hendery & Yangyang are going to be doing most of the rapping. I think you know Hendery's face. Yangyang's rapping isn't deep as Winwin's. -DEEP AF VOCALS, Lucas and Winwin. Winwin has finer features than Yangyang. srsly boy has v delicate bone structure. deep rap moments or adlibs will be done by these two. their raps tend to be slower. -WayV does a lot of dance trios with different centres. you'll most often see Ten, Lucas, and Yangyang in them. that's another way to remember Yangyang. he's the short dancer that isn't Ten lol. Winwin is the tall one that isn't Lucas. I also will ruin their visuals for myself to get a grip when they're being disrespectful. For Hendery, just try to picture Donkey from Shrek.
Fun fact: As you heard, the MV for "Love Talk" is an all English version, but -- because WayV is the Mandarin Chinese sub-unit of NCT -- if you listen to the album you will see there is a Mandarin version of the song, as well. SM just chose to only make an MV for the English version. Because NCT's whole concept is based on dreams, I think in WayV's "Love Talk" MV you are supposed to interpret it as if you are inside a dream. I see the cube as part of SM's labyrinth concept where, like EXO, they might be trapped inside a maze. Which, if the maze is part of the Red Forces' plot, could be why they are in a foggy dream state. In EXO's storyline it is thought that the Red Force has trapped EXO in a maze and the maze dulls EXO's sense and makes it so they are unable to fight back and we often see the EXO members in a sleepy dazed state because they are under the Red Forces' control.

WayV is the Mandarin Chinese sub-unit of NCT. They are all Chinese, except Ten who is Thai, but his grandparents are Chinese so that is where he gets his Chinese heritage from. Mandarin is one of most of their native or second languages. And WayV promotes in China, so most of their songs are in Mandarin. (The only songs that aren't in Mandarin so far are their MV version of "Love Talk," "Bad Alive" -- however, even though the "Bad Alive" MV is considered the English ver., it has a few lines in Mandarin and Korean -- and their newest song "Miracle", or if you happen to listen to the Korean version of "Turn Back Time." But the original versions are in Mandarin for most of their songs. With their "Nectar" live performance, what you heard was them singing in Mandarin with a few English words and lines mixed in. In order to promote in China they have to appear separate from anything to do with Korea, so that is why everything about WayV is seperate from the rest of NCT, for the most part. It's why they have their own fandom, why they have their own lightstick and why they are represented by SM's sister company Label V -- which is in China -- instead of being under SM's main label. All the WayV members have to speak Mandarin because when they promote in China they appear on Chinese variety shows and do interviews on Chinese programs, etc. That is also why Ten has been able to do promotions in China by himself for the past few months. Ten is fluent in 5 different languages -- Thai, English, Korean, Mandarin and Japanese. Because of the political issues with China and Korea, on top of the pandemic making it difficult to promote in China, I think SM has been producing more English songs with WayV because it makes more sense to do English songs for the Chinese sub-unit while the group is stuck in Korea, than it does to have them produce Korean songs at the moment. It's also part of SM's strategy to slowly creep into the U.S. market. (If they become too Korean centric, this will make it more difficult once they eventually get back to promoting in China.) However, one of the reasons way they made a Korean version of "Turn Back Time" was because at that time it was the height of the pandemic, and all the WayV members were stuck in Korea. So, in order to continue to promote the group, SM used that as an opportunity to put WayV out into the Korean media. ("Bad Alive" was the b-side track they promoted with when they promoted "Turn Back Time.") For their "Turn Back TIme"/"Bad Alive" comeback, this was the first time we had ever seen WayV promote their songs on music shows in Korea, and the members started appearing for the first time on Korean variety shows, etc. as part of their promotions. Hahaha, you don't know Lucas as well as you thought you did. ;D He is the tall one with the bucket hat that was the first one in the dance practice and the one who was "feeling himself" on the far right. He was the first one you see in the MV, so he is the first one you see in the dance practice. The story in WayV's "Moonwalk" MV is connected to SuperM's and EXO's storyline, as well as several of WayV's other MVs, etc. Since the creation of SuperM, where they are now taking members from each of SM's most popular groups and creating an Avengers-like supergroup, I think that was SM's first indication that from now on we need to pay attention, because all of its groups' MVs are somehow connected. If the SuperM Avengers are coming together to help EXO stop the Red Force, I think the members who are part of SuperM are the liaisons who are helping to connect all the groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT and WayV -- together. For example, right after SuperM released "Jopping," WayV came out with "Moonwalk" and I think "Moonwalk" is pretty much a continuation or another part of "Jopping's" storyline. I also think WayV's next MV for their song "Turn Back Time" is also part of that story. With NCT's dream concept, they could very easily connect to EXO's other world and other dimension theories. I even see parts of the story in "Moonwalk" that could be connected to SuperM's "100" and "One (Monster & Infinity)" MVs and EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" MV. For example, we also see SuperM in a spaceship or space capsule or on a space station in "100," which I think is connected to the space theme in "Moonwalk." In "Moonwalk" you see Ten become weightless as he floats inside what looks like a space capsule, etc. And, as you may have noticed, Ten and Lucas have a pivotal role in the storyline in "Moonwalk," which I think is because they are members of SuperM and they are coming to gather the other members of WayV to bring them into the fight. I think the apocalyptic scenes you see happening are connected to the fact that at the end of EXO's "Obsession" MV we see the world burning as the EXO members battle their alter ego clones X-EXO for control. And, I think it also is connected to the fact that we see the world burning as if an apocalypse is happening in EXO's Chinese member, Lay's solo "Sheep" Alan Walker relift version MV. And it's also connected to the meteor shower we see in the beginning of EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" and in some of EXO's teaser videos over the years and concert VCRs. I also don't think WayV are on Earth in "Moonwalk," or at least not a version of Earth that we are familiar with. I think WayV may be either in a dream universe or in another time and place in the future. Just like how EXO is thought to be traveling between time periods and alternate realities in their search for the Tree of Life and quest to stop the Red Force, etc. The "desert" scenes I think are showing them on another planet or futuristic world. The drones you see hovering around Lucas in the beginning of "Moonwalk", I also think are connected to the drones we see in SuperM's "One (Monster & Infinity)" MV and Kai's solo "Mmmh" MV and "Film: Kai" video, etc. So on that note, I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third and fourth generation groups' MVs and storylines are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together there are threads of connection between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa and maybe even Taemin's solo work and possibly SHINee. Even though SHINee are second gen, they actually fit within the age group of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen.
Isn't Nectar from the NCT 2020 album? And never heard any other version of it other than CHI ver. I know Love Talk has CHI and ENG ver. but it came from a different album. I think it was Bad Alive that they use as a couple song for Turn Back Time.

I think you'll eventually recognise their faces regardless of their hair, but before that it's easier to find out who's who by their parts during a performance. You have Lucas and Ten down. So you remember that
-Kun & Xiaojun are going to be doing the big vocal moments with XJ having BROWS and doing the high notes.
-Hendery & Yangyang are going to be doing most of the rapping. I think you know Hendery's face. Yangyang's rapping isn't deep as Winwin's.
-DEEP AF VOCALS, Lucas and Winwin. Winwin has finer features than Yangyang. srsly boy has v delicate bone structure. deep rap moments or adlibs will be done by these two. their raps tend to be slower.
-WayV does a lot of dance trios with different centres. you'll most often see Ten, Lucas, and Yangyang in them. that's another way to remember Yangyang. he's the short dancer that isn't Ten lol. Winwin is the tall one that isn't Lucas.

Fun fact: As you heard, the MV for "Love Talk" is an all English version, but -- because WayV is the Mandarin Chinese sub-unit of NCT -- if you listen to the album you will see there is a Mandarin version of the song, as well. SM just chose to only make an MV for the English version.
Because NCT's whole concept is based on dreams, I think in WayV's "Love Talk" MV you are supposed to interpret it as if you are inside a dream. I see the cube as part of SM's labyrinth concept where, like EXO, they might be trapped inside a maze. Which, if the maze is part of the Red Forces' plot, could be why they are in a foggy dream state. In EXO's storyline it is thought that the Red Force has trapped EXO in a maze and the maze dulls EXO's sense and makes it so they are unable to fight back and we often see the EXO members in a sleepy dazed state because they are under the Red Forces' control.

WayV is the Mandarin Chinese sub-unit of NCT. They are all Chinese, except Ten who is Thai, but his grandparents are Chinese so that is where he gets his Chinese heritage from. Mandarin is one of most of their native or second languages. And WayV promotes in China, so most of their songs are in Mandarin. (The only songs that aren't in Mandarin so far are their MV version of "Love Talk," "Bad Alive" -- however, even though the "Bad Alive" MV is considered the English ver., it has a few lines in Mandarin and Korean -- and their newest song "Miracle", or if you happen to listen to the Korean version of "Turn Back Time." But the original versions are in Mandarin for most of their songs.
With their "Nectar" live performance, what you heard was them singing in Mandarin with a few English words and lines mixed in.
In order to promote in China they have to appear separate from anything to do with Korea, so that is why everything about WayV is seperate from the rest of NCT, for the most part. It's why they have their own fandom, why they have their own lightstick and why they are represented by SM's sister company Label V -- which is in China -- instead of being under SM's main label.
All the WayV members have to speak Mandarin because when they promote in China they appear on Chinese variety shows and do interviews on Chinese programs, etc. That is also why Ten has been able to do promotions in China by himself for the past few months. Ten is fluent in 5 different languages -- Thai, English, Korean, Mandarin and Japanese.
Because of the political issues with China and Korea, on top of the pandemic making it difficult to promote in China, I think SM has been producing more English songs with WayV because it makes more sense to do English songs for the Chinese sub-unit while the group is stuck in Korea, than it does to have them produce Korean songs at the moment. It's also part of SM's strategy to slowly creep into the U.S. market. (If they become too Korean centric, this will make it more difficult once they eventually get back to promoting in China.)
However, one of the reasons way they made a Korean version of "Turn Back Time" was because at that time it was the height of the pandemic, and all the WayV members were stuck in Korea. So, in order to continue to promote the group, SM used that as an opportunity to put WayV out into the Korean media. ("Bad Alive" was the b-side track they promoted with when they promoted "Turn Back Time.") For their "Turn Back TIme"/"Bad Alive" comeback, this was the first time we had ever seen WayV promote their songs on music shows in Korea, and the members started appearing for the first time on Korean variety shows, etc. as part of their promotions.
Hahaha, you don't know Lucas as well as you thought you did. ;D He is the tall one with the bucket hat that was the first one in the dance practice and the one who was "feeling himself" on the far right. He was the first one you see in the MV, so he is the first one you see in the dance practice.
The story in WayV's "Moonwalk" MV is connected to SuperM's and EXO's storyline, as well as several of WayV's other MVs, etc.
Since the creation of SuperM, where they are now taking members from each of SM's most popular groups and creating an Avengers-like supergroup, I think that was SM's first indication that from now on we need to pay attention, because all of its groups' MVs are somehow connected.
If the SuperM Avengers are coming together to help EXO stop the Red Force, I think the members who are part of SuperM are the liaisons who are helping to connect all the groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT and WayV -- together. For example, right after SuperM released "Jopping," WayV came out with "Moonwalk" and I think "Moonwalk" is pretty much a continuation or another part of "Jopping's" storyline. I also think WayV's next MV for their song "Turn Back Time" is also part of that story. With NCT's dream concept, they could very easily connect to EXO's other world and other dimension theories.
I even see parts of the story in "Moonwalk" that could be connected to SuperM's "100" and "One (Monster & Infinity)" MVs and EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" MV. For example, we also see SuperM in a spaceship or space capsule or on a space station in "100," which I think is connected to the space theme in "Moonwalk." In "Moonwalk" you see Ten become weightless as he floats inside what looks like a space capsule, etc.
And, as you may have noticed, Ten and Lucas have a pivotal role in the storyline in "Moonwalk," which I think is because they are members of SuperM and they are coming to gather the other members of WayV to bring them into the fight.
I think the apocalyptic scenes you see happening are connected to the fact that at the end of EXO's "Obsession" MV we see the world burning as the EXO members battle their alter ego clones X-EXO for control. And, I think it also is connected to the fact that we see the world burning as if an apocalypse is happening in EXO's Chinese member, Lay's solo "Sheep" Alan Walker relift version MV. And it's also connected to the meteor shower we see in the beginning of EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" and in some of EXO's teaser videos over the years and concert VCRs.
I also don't think WayV are on Earth in "Moonwalk," or at least not a version of Earth that we are familiar with. I think WayV may be either in a dream universe or in another time and place in the future. Just like how EXO is thought to be traveling between time periods and alternate realities in their search for the Tree of Life and quest to stop the Red Force, etc. The "desert" scenes I think are showing them on another planet or futuristic world.
The drones you see hovering around Lucas in the beginning of "Moonwalk", I also think are connected to the drones we see in SuperM's "One (Monster & Infinity)" MV and Kai's solo "Mmmh" MV and "Film: Kai" video, etc.
So on that note, I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third and fourth generation groups' MVs and storylines are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together there are threads of connection between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa and maybe even Taemin's solo work and possibly SHINee. Even though SHINee are second gen, they actually fit within the age group of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen.
Isn't Nectar from the NCT 2020 album? And never heard any other version of it other than CHI ver.
I know Love Talk has CHI and ENG ver. but it came from a different album. I think it was Bad Alive that they use as a couple song for Turn Back Time.
