For fast moving objects: (neer the speed of light) Time is minimized (least time principal) Is 1. t(min) > 0 or 2. t(min) = 0 If it's the 1st case then photons don't experience time at all. So the least time principle is not accurate for photons. If it's the 2nd case then it's alright.
I think this is associated with the property of material that some material (due to the arrangement of molecules and .....) allowing light to pass through them and some do not...
