I know nothing about Ekko, but this song just absolutely HITS! The driving but subtle base is really good! I really enjoy how Divide does the chorus, and then the bigginig of the last chorus, he drops almost all the music and softens the vocals, and then brings it back full force! It really makes an impact!
Im not good at understanding how music is made or anything about music theory, but in listening to nerdcore over the past few years I have come to realize that drums and bass are what drive me when i listen to music. The groove is different but I’m thinking “burn it to the ground” by NickelBack. More so where it’s really huge drums and bass line driven like this song.
I was thinking Nickleback too! Def some three days grace in that beginning sound but def Nickelback in the line delivery. Song fits Ekko so well glad they didnt go soft for him!
