- Welcome to a new Walt Disney World vlog series for 2023! Join us as we fly from Melbourne, Australia all the way to Orlando, Florida, stopping at Disney's Aulani in Hawaii along the way 🏝
We have been taking our older children on special individual trips over the last few years, along with our 3 little kids. This is Baden's trip and he gets to celebrate his 17th birthday while we are away! 🎢
After over 40 hours of travel, we arrived at Disney's All-Star Music Resort to start our vacation ⭐️

hi guys, ive been several times to disneyland and wdw. but never hire a car, im thinking about it for the next holydays is it worth it?. cheers
There’s a “keep up with traffic” code on American highways. If you want to only drive the speed limit you should stay in the right most lane as the left most lane is for passing. (Middle lanes for semi trucks). Some states are more strict when it comes to following the speed limit. In general 5-10 miles over is generally okay

Great to see a new trip series start. Violet and the boys looking so big now. Did u intentionally book via Hawaii or was that the cheapest flight option? It certainly made your travel day exceptionally long. It always amazes me that you are able to only have 1 checked luggage bag for so many people. I look forward to seeing what adventures you get up to.
It was the cheapest but also now that we have done several ways, it's definitely the easiest way to break it up for us. I plan on doing some "planning" vlogs to show how I pack and organise things s well as getting the pest price for everything.

Yep! Troy we found the same issue when driving, everyone was overtaking me and I’m doing the speed limit! Apparently the speed limit is ‘just a guide’ 😮

It's a free public beach :) It's so beautiful. You just can't use the equipment there.

So you guys had to book a room at the Disney Resort in Hawaii and didnt even sleep there. I saw online that they dont let guest go to the pool without a hotel room
We didn't use the pool, you need a booking and wristbands to use it. The life guard said it was fine for the boys to use the little splash pads. But the beach, shops, restaurants etc. are free for anyone to use ☺️

love travel vids, couple of questions, did you take the booster seats and pram with you, do you convert your aussie dollars before trip, and how do you manage adjusting so quick to driving left hand drive, great idea breaking up the trip, enjoy
We took Violets chair and stroller. They're free to take on planes and it saved us money on the other end. We use a worldwide wallet through Westpac for our money. We used to change over cash at travel money oz or somewhere like that but it's easier these days to use a card without fees. Especially with mobile ordering. Troys had lots of experience driving on that side now but it always takes us both concentrating for a little while at the very start to get the hang of it again.

Caleb decided he didn't want to travel at this stage and opted for some $ instead 😆 But he will be coming on our big family trip in 2025

Hi guys, so nice to see you all again
It amazes me how little you pack for the size of your family and going across the world. Heck for my family of 4 going to Orlando I have like 6 check in bags! :) Luckily we take Southwest where they allow 2 checked bags per person so that's great. Speaking on driving it seems like most of us in the USA usually always drive over the speed limit and some states are worse then others. I'm from Massachusetts and we are sometimes called Massholes 🤣
Here in Australia there are speed cameras but you usually know where they are, so you can go a little over the limit if you know there isn't one lol
Luggage stresses me out so I try to pack light!

An don't worry about Evryone else on the road u look to b driving safely. An that's what matters. Evryone else r speed demons an they drive like there is no speed limits.
I was wondering did y'all make it to Hawaii b4 the wild fires this summer or after.... 😢 I can't imagine what it's done to the islands. But when it grows back it will b even more beautiful than b4. ❤

Caleb chose not to travel for his trip but he will be coming with us in 2025. I keep asking if he's sure because we would love to go to Japan!
Does Aulani do a day pass?
They're open to the public for most things except the actual pools and meeting characters/doing resort activities. We were lucky to be walking past when the characters were heading out! Also you get free parking if you eat at their restaurants at certain times.
