Sonny, Jason,and Carly have a long history and know one another to the core (when Nell attempts to frame Carly for pushing her down the stairs, Sonny walks into the interrogation room, Caly tells him "Nell is lying", Sonny gives Carly the side-eye but not the Benefit of the doubt.....Jason walks into the interrogation room, and Carly repeats the exact same statement to Jason, Jason tells Carly "I believe you, while you may hate Nell, you love Michael more, you would never hurt Nell while she is carrying Michael's 1st child."......Carly is committed to Ferncliff, drugged and strapped to a hospital gurney about to be given the equivalent of a lobotomy. In her hour of need, who comes to her rescue?.....If Jason has allowed Carly to believe him dead for the last 2.5 years, he has a damn good reason, If there is video surveillance of Jason on the roof when a shot was fired at Sonny, there is a damn good reason, and I will extend him the BOD until I have irrefutable proof to the contrary....My mom can be intrusive, overbearing, meddlesome,, and a snoop sister but i can overlook ALL of those things b/c even with her faults, she is the one individual on this planet that I TRUST with my life, she would never steal from me or hurt me physically, and for me, that is worth its weight in gold...
Exactly! Say that again for the people in the back. It is just baffling to me how Sonny, Sam, Michael(to be fair they both seem to feel a little conflicted, and Michael doesn't want to believe it.) Ava, Drew and all these people who have known Jason for years would not give him the benefit of the doubt and not even consider that there has to be another explanation. He certainly never would try to kill Sonny or his son Dante, for that matter. He in fact, has saved all of their lives at one point for that matter and has come thru for Sonny time after time. They know that Dante received first aid, and 911 was called before Josselyn and Dex arrived. So wouldn't they at least consider that it was more likely that it was Jason who tried to save his life. I did appreciate that Christina and Molly at least said if he did it. Drew should be one of the main ones giving him the benefit of the doubt as the only reason that he was able to return to his family is because Jason saved his life and that's how he was presumed to be dead in the first place. Sonny should really think about it, he said it himself Jason never misses so that should tell him if Jason wanted him dead he would be. He wouldn't just have a bullet hole in his Jacket, he would be dead, or at the very least, he would be the one fighting for his life. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty. Drew really made me mad because he expected Carly to support him in his quest for revenge against Nina and begged to be forgiven, but he won't do the same for her. This is why Carly and Jason will always be each other's ride or die because they support one another, no questions asked, and they never believe the worst in each other. Carly doesn't need to know all the details right now because she knows Jason, therefore she knows there has to be another explanation. I'm glad that she seems to have gotten through to Anna.

I felt CM did a good job today playing Drew, finally! It seemed like the first time in months he delivered a better version of Drew. More fire in him, not so wimpy. I also hope they keep Drew shaved. He looks more like he has his act together while playing revengeful, if anyone gets that. I agree though, the previous writers ruined Drew. Hopefully some way they can dig him out of the way he has become and all of us can stop disliking him.

There was no reason to traumatize DANNY before she let it sink in for herself. (It’s not like she could reunite them. She did know where he was.) Her ex-husband suddenly back from the dead, and current lover fighting for his life. Plus, DANNY was supposed to be in bed, not disobeying his mother (again). Notice JAKE doesn’t even know yet (only that DANTE’ got hurt), and he is JASON’S oldest child. She left the boy in the capable hands of his grandmothers. That is best for all concerned until she knows more. I think you are giving SAM a “bad rap” here.

Reading that in the newspaper for Danny WOULD be traumatic, especially not finding out from his Mom or family. It's the writing I have an issue with, not the actress. Sam is not the strong, smart, savy Sam anymore.

I knew Danny would find Jason. But I was disappointed in the scenes between him and Jason. With them going on an on about Danny missing his dad so much, I figured he would show some emotion when he saw Jason or vice-versa. Instead the scenes fell flat.

Theyve already said that Danny bottles his feelings a lot like Jason so it would probably be OOC for him to be super emotional. Jason was very emotional in the two minutes he saw Carly, but he didn't hug his son. He didn't get teary-eyed. He had no emotional reaction. Oh, and the fact that he doesn't want Danny to lie, not tell Sam or anyone he saw him is a little out of character. Hopefully, it gets better.

Can't really say I'm sad about Carly and Drew being over. I never cared for them, and I've never cared for this version of Drew. Though, I kind of have to respect him for knowing his limits and bowing out early on rather than trying to compete or putting up with something he's uncomfortable with. He's not wrong that Jason's always going to come first for Carly, even if he was a bit of a jerk in this scene. Jason and Carly always been kind of part of a package deal no matter other relationships they've been in, and I can't blame Drew for not wanting to deal with it.

Until this week, JASON was Dead. How was she making one “second best?” (Last she looked, DREW was not newly back from the dead, wounded, and Wanted.) Drew and Ava i could see jumping to conclusions as neither have the same history with Jason as Sonny, Carly & Michael it's been so long, but based on Jason's last return from the dead, Drew and Michael are twin brothers (Although they are brothers there was NO bond and they did not share much cam time together).....Sonny, Carly, and Michael ALL share a very close bonded history and know one another to the core, where it is simply inconceivable of them to NOT give Jason the "BOD"....There is NO scenario where Jason would ever move against Sonny, Carly or Michael and any of them against him, EVER, much less Jason shooting Sonny's 1st born. Drew's confrontation with Carly was a bit over the top, esp when Drew/Carly are not married and do NOT share a long history vs Carly & Jason have a history built on mutual respect and trust. When Carly was in Ferncliff facing her darkest hour strapped to a hospital gurney, drugged and about to receive the equivalent of a frontal lobotomy, it was Jason who came to her rescue, Jason as earned Carly's trust, love, respect, and LOYALTY!!!.....If Drew feels threatened by that, ow well. Sam was married to Jason for years and knew him for years prior to marrying him, yet today she told Carly, if she hears from Jason call the police.....Girl bye!!!

It seemed like the first time in months he delivered a better version of Drew. More fire in him, not so wimpy.
I also hope they keep Drew shaved. He looks more like he has his act together while playing revengeful, if anyone gets that.
I agree though, the previous writers ruined Drew. Hopefully some way they can dig him out of the way he has become and all of us can stop disliking him.

Reading that in the newspaper for Danny WOULD be traumatic, especially not finding out from his Mom or family.

I knew it was going to be Jason’s baby boy who found him. They’ve been leaning heavy into the fact that he’s a lot like Jason & then him being the first one (other than Carly) to see him. I don’t think that’s for nothing. & then Jason teaching him the gun safety. Jason 2.0 incoming?
I knew Danny would find Jason. But I was disappointed in the scenes between him and Jason. With them going on an on about Danny missing his dad so much, I figured he would show some emotion when he saw Jason or vice-versa. Instead the scenes fell flat.

Theyve already said that Danny bottles his feelings a lot like Jason so it would probably be OOC for him to be super emotional. Plus he was still skeptical because everyone had been saying Jason shot Dante. Hopefully we get more tomorrow.

@Whynot356 I understand the writers are pushing hard, maybe too hard, that Danny is like Jason. But Jason's personality is the result of brain damage. That's why he's Stone Cold. Jason was very emotional in the two minutes he saw Carly, but he didn't hug his son. He didn't get teary-eyed. He had no emotional reaction. Oh, and the fact that he doesn't want Danny to lie, not tell Sam or anyone he saw him is a little out of character. Hopefully, it gets better.

Can't really say I'm sad about Carly and Drew being over. I never cared for them, and I've never cared for this version of Drew. Though, I kind of have to respect him for knowing his limits and bowing out early on rather than trying to compete or putting up with something he's uncomfortable with. He's not wrong that Jason's always going to come first for Carly, even if he was a bit of a jerk in this scene. Jason and Carly always been kind of part of a package deal no matter other relationships they've been in, and I can't blame Drew for not wanting to deal with it.
