Thank you for taking us on this trip. I've jogged and walked around Upper and Lower Edgewater Park more times than I can count over the years. I'm there all the time in the summer and sometimes I go for a brisk walk in the winter. I've even walked over to Kelly's Island a couple of times. But I haven't ventured on the pathway in the residential areas much further east than Battery Park. I see the path when I drive on the shoreway all the time. Just never walked it. Goals for next summer. This was a joy to travel through my city while resting on the couch!
Love the Cleveland script signs. I also do a bit of venturing out myself, and funny enough it took me so long to finally find the Parma script sign. I'm like oh it's here on Ridge Rd and West Ridgewood Dr. I was laughing at myself about it because of how long it took me to find it. But other than that, whenever I'm free from work, I get what I can to venture out, and so far this year, my 2 favorite spots are Glenwillow OH,( near Solon) the downtown Euclid area and sims park, and the shoregate shopping center and lakefront lodge in willowick. Definitely had to take some pics.
On a visit a couple years ago, I ran from the Cleveland script sign to Wendy Park and back to Lakewood to my Airbnb where I was staying. It’s beautiful even in the winter as seen in this video. The most picturesque place in Cleveland IMHO.
We all have experiences. Even though this is a wonderful video, it makes me depressed. For me it's like my journey through life so far. Traveling alone solo even though having people around me.
@@kevinmcshea6373 look at it this way ,u might be riding solo but you also don't have everyone's drama.i like not dealing with all the drama.and I'm never riding solo As long as Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior is riding with me.
Haha, maybe. When the 55 bus was on that shoreway the other say, I took my phone out and was curious how fast we were going, and it did show 35 to 37 mph.
@@floridaguy2023 I can attest to that. Everyone is still used to it being highway speeds. There were more cops pulling people over a few years ago. When I drive it and try to stay somewhat with the flow of traffic, people still pass me left and right. According to my "sight-distancing techniques", I can tell they are going well above 45 mph ;)

My favorite areas in Cleveland to ride. Were you using the Pocket 3? How did you have it mounted?
You should go down in the flats.
Formerly a Lakewood native.
Live real close
I lived at the 12000 for eleven years. This was fun. I walked this area a hundred times. Thank you!
Nobody goes 35 on the Shoreway. People are used to 50 mph their whole life, and the cops are so understaffed they'll never control that street.

@@PokoTraveler lol I noticed it in the video I’m no expert on speed, but those cars look to be moving much faster than 35 MPH
