I wonder how old Bastian is supposed tp be. I was thinking fourteen or fifthteen. Jack black is so weird and funny in this. It may not be a "good" movie, but its very enjoyable. Engywook and Urgl must have known who was reading, especially at the end, the Empress told Attreyu that Bastian is the only one who has the power to save Fantasia by calling out the Empress's name.
