Here’s something you should know: Totality is a word the means “whole of something”. That something this song refers to is the eclipse of course. There are three different types of eclipses; partial, annular, and total eclipse. In the event, it looks as if there is a partial eclipse going on, but I don’t know for sure. However, in the final wave of Night IV, Wave 16, Totality Tower goes dark. Many say because of Umbra shutting off the sun and how it makes no sense. But what Umbra means by “it is time”, is that it becomes a total eclipse. Total eclipse is where the moon covers the entire sun and leaves the whole sky dark. Total eclipses best occur on a narrow track on the surface of the earth. That track is called path of totality (now you know how the Night IV OSTs get their names). So Umbra isn’t shutting off the sun, she is creating a total eclipse and waiting for the opportune moment to make the Earth, Sun, and Moon align. Hope this clears up what you heard about Night IV. And good luck on getting the Executioner. enjoyed this event so much that i made a late ahh story. On the night of December 4, 2021, lies 4 bosses. One is a pumpkin, another is a swamp looking creature, another one is like a warrior, and the final one, the queen. Players are excited to play, as they started night 1 at a Rotfield. They meet "Jaxe", the commander of the first army. He sent some undeads, as some players put golden scouts and crook boss. They were no match for the towers. On the time where the second enemy lies, it was by now 1:30 AM. The second enemies were mummies. They were slightly stronger than the undeads, but they took on the mummies. When the third enemy came, it was Bones. They almost reached the cave, but died shortly after the players put 1 scouts and 2 crook bosses. Many players were confused of where Commander went. They don’t know where he went but they continued the game. The fourth enemy, scarecrow. They were fast, but quite easy to defeat. And finally, the pumpkin has had it. He shouted. "I guess I’ll have to do it myself. AHEM! I, the undead Jaxe… From whom was appointed none other than the mistress herself, Will deliver you to your grave.. CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY!" Jaxe emerged from the cave, but in no way that Jaxe will reach the cave. Jaxe died in less than 1 minutes. well, that was uh, fun to write time for night 2! On the night of December 5, 2021 lies Swamp Monster. He challenges you to a battle at Foggy Forest. You knew that this won’t be easy but you accepted the challenge. The Swamp Monster sent out Shroogma, trying to battle your towers as the amounts declined every 2 shots of the towers weapons. You also thought the commander came back, but did not. You thought he was dead forever, but that might be wrong. It was time for the Overgrown to show their strength. They were no match for your towers. Luckily you upgraded your towers to have hidden detection, as Ghosts are coming out of the shadows.. there were one Ghost left and attacked your base, losing one Health. This time, a harder and stronger ghost is coming. The wraith, they were killed due to more upgraded towers. You heard a huge stomp, and it was Ent. The Ent almost reached your base, but was killed in under 30 seconds. The Player: "What is that noice?" The Werewolf emerged from the cave, not ready to run. You thought that will be easy until the werewolf ran so fast it almost reached your base. The Swamp Monster has had enough and yelled. "I will admit, I underestimated you.. But, your wasted effort won’t change anything. For once im done with you… You will be nothing but a lost soul-..!" The Swamp Monster exited the cave with his mighty back octopus. You know that you will lose, but you pushed through and destroyed the Swamp Monster. its like 1 hours and 30 minutes long writing all the nights combined it is time for night 3, there will be so many enemies lol On the night of December 6, 2021, lies Penumbras. He is a determined simp challenging you at the Tower Outskirts. As he sent Pikes, they were not easy. Luckily you and your towers defeated them in less than a minute. The second enemy you know will be more harder, the Knight. They were fast, but you managed to defeat them. You got enough money to upgrade your tower to have hidden detection, since the ghost is coming. You defeated them afterwards. The first mini boss has arrived, the Cobalt Guard. They were not easy, you defeated him with him almost reaching your base. Your towers have fly detection, but they are very few. The Vampire arrived and damaged your base by 3. A harder vampire is coming, the bat. Your towers have finally has fly detection and defeated them easily. The same enemy from the second night has arrived, the Wraith. You defeated them easily. This time, the zombie horse has arrived. You defeated them easily. The same enemy, the Ent arrived and you also defeated them easily. The ghost knight has arrived and almost reached the cave. The Players yelled, "It’s the werewolf!" He sprinted towards the cave and almost reaches it. And a ripoff Cobalt Guard arrived, the Cursed Guard. You defeated him, knowing the next enemy will be much more harder, yet it’s slightly easier. You defeated the Cursed Knight and will now be taking on the Solar Shard and the Lunar Shard. They were not easy, yet you defeated them. All of the shards were turned to dusts, who you defeated easily. The Penumbras has had enough and yelled, "Your strength is admirable. However, I will not fall to one who is not worthy to be graced by her presence! If I fall here, I will never be able to tell her..- Huh?! You heard n-nothing! Take this, you fiend!" Penumbras emerged from the castle, determined to defeat you. He did not, and died painfully on the shores of the Tower Outskirt. Night IV at 50 likes, this is all im asking for. also there will be 5 chapters of extras after NIGHT IV. (70 likes lol) what a nice day- oh wait. **checks youtube likes** oh! its time to get going. On the night of December 7, 2021 lies "The Queen with The Best Guard." at the Totality Tower. She is named The Umbra, and she is the one who caused every second of The Solar Eclipse. As you started placing some towers, Umbra sent Pikes who was the first enemy of Night III. You defeated them, and the knight was coming next. They were easy to you, with your high experience of TDS. You defeated the Knight, and the Clanker is coming next. They were a new enemy and you needed some help. They damaged your base by 5. And as expected, the Wraith arrived. Luckily you installed some hidden detection to some of your towers, and defeated them. Unexpectedly, the Lunar Shard came running to your base and died, sending dusts to go into your base. The dusts died, and you sighed of relief. The first mini boss has finally arrived, and it is Cobalt Guard who was in NIGHT III. It was shot dead by the level 0 Accelerator whom the player was saving up for. Ace Pilots were placed as Vampires arrived to the tower and were shot dead by the planes’ bomb. Whoa. The bomb is strong. The same happened when Bats came and got accidentally shot by the planes’ bomb. Again, unexpectedly, Solar Shard came running down the hallway trying to enter your base. They failed and dropped Dusts who died from a level 2 Accelerator. The Headless Jaxe was actually alive and stronger. He exited the cave and he took place in Umbras Madness Final Night. Jaxe died and the Mega Clanker appeared and was killed by Level 4 Accelerator. The spirits of the Knights, Ghost Knight has exited Umbras Cave and ran there fearlessly. They were defeated and the Cursed Knights came and died as well as Cursed Horses and Cursed Guards. The Flare came out and ran there fearlessly like the Ghost Knights along with Lunar Shields. After the Lunar Shields and Flares were defeated, The Solar Servant and The Lunar Servant came out together. They were defeated and Umbra said: "IT IS TIME.." right after that, Commander spoke in the Radio. He said: "Hello? Anyone there..? We finally made contact! See those charges spawning around the Map? Grab them! You can use them to charge the large cannon and stun the Umbra! If you time your shots right, you can cancel out her attacks!" The Umbra said in a cute style yet scary voice: "were you waiting for me? how sweet of you…In that case, i will be sure to serve you well!" Umbra emerged from the cave and walked weirdly. When she was near dead, she used rage mode and started using her bows. One damaged your base, and another time, you fired the cannon good. You stunned her 2x and she died. Her last words were: "No..This can’t be.. THIS CANT BE!…" Solar Eclipse ended forever, but some consider it "not over." Extras at 70 likes. hey guys, it’s 70 now. anyways, i am going for a nap and will write this as soon as i wake up. hey guys, im back from my nap and here is the extras Chapter 1: Jaxes Promise Umbra: i want to conquer the world with 3 of my comrades.. Jaxe, Swamp Monster and Penumbras: Don’t you dare..but we’ll help ya. The Squad entered the earth and started the Solar Eclipse. No one dared to question why the Solar Eclipse was a little different. Pitch black and pure darkness. The world has never seen such thing before. When Jaxe captured Rotfield and murdered the farmers, the allies rushed there. 1 minutes before the allies arrived, Jaxe promised Umbra that he will destroy the allies himself. That failed miserably. The Allies were celebrating their triumph, but the appointed leader, Crook Boss said that it’s not over. You do that to me, i will kill you guys. i will make sure you never touch her. You will feel my wrath, lost souls. (Swamp Monster after Jaxe died and before running to Foggy Forest) Crook Boss: Alright, Alright! Stop celebrating! We did not win yet. We have few more to get to the final stage! Stop lazing around! Others: Alright, sorry. Scout: Why cant we just enjoy a small bit of fun? Crook Boss: Shut up. Scout: Sorry. Toxic Gunner: (whispering to Scout) He is way too grumpy. Scout: (whispering to Toxic Gunner) i agree. Crook Boss: We will rest here until it is 3 A.M. get some rest. 30 minutes later, 2 hours and 30 minutes before travelling to Foggy Forest. Pursuit: Your planes slow as crap. Ace Pilot: Mines an old plane which circles around and makes it slower when you are just a random helicopter. 1 hour and 30 minutes later, 1 hour until travelling to Foggy Forest Crook Boss: Perfect, We can move. Escorts are arriving in a few minutes, we can go now, but we might not know if it’s the right path. but, we have to continue and save us. let’s go. Chapter 2: Swamp Monsters Soul The Allies reached Foggy Forest and started defending the enemies..the forest also looked like an old place.. Polluted Wasteland. Swamp Monster hated them and decided to send out some enemies. All failed, as he called you a lost soul, he died, brutally. [ceased.]
They didn't meet jaxe the umbra instead revived jaxe probably tho we got lunar overture maybe we get a better lore for jaxe after knowing more about umbra's powers at ACT 2

This tells me everything I need about the event, everything I need? well all I need to know is that its gunna be probably one of if not my very favorite event's in tds and I'm sure others will share that feeling, and that says a lot because halloween 2020 was a chart topper with lord sinister and its gunna be really hard to set a new record. That intro. Pure power and evil. Devoid of hope and even the slimmest chance of winning, unlike the tracks before it. The Umbra approaches, and she will not be merciful at all. It is here, that you shall die. And then it builds up to something more...? 1:20. The true battle begins. Fast-paced and filled with action. The choir sings a more hopeful tune, yet as elegant as always. And then 2:04 hits. Triumphant. Filled with determination. Perhaps it is possible to press on and win. 2:38. But don't get your hopes up just yet! You're dealing with *the* Umbra, one of the most powerful foes you shall ever face. And she will not go easy on you. 3:09. Similar to 1:20, but lacks the choir. Still very cool. And then, near the end of 3:31, it incorporates the melody first introduced at 0:51 in Path of Totality. Ya know, that one where the first 3 notes kinda sound like the lobby theme? And then, it all loops again from 0:56. Overall, I love how this track seamlessly switches between the hopeless, evil sections and the determined, triumphant sections, with the fast-paced action-filled battle sections connecting them both. "Totality". A word used to represent the "whole of something". While I am unsure as to why this track is named that, I am sure of one thing. This event's OST, in its *totality,* is *totally awesome!*
Listening to this again, it's still amazing. The commander ability chaining, watching Umbra's every move to prepare for her ability and praying she dies before she reaches the base. This event was the best, honestly.
I love how this gives the “final stand of humanity” vibe. Seen from the night 4 caption *SAVE THE WORLD.* it means basically you have to stop umbra before the eclipse becomes total. And the atmosphere becomes what you’d have to feel with hype battleing for the fate of humanity (or whatever the race of towers here are.)
Nah Umbra says "IT IS TIME" because it has reached Totality already, She'd have the same amount of health as Penumbras (maybe higher) before Totality but since she comes out at her strongest she has 1M HP

this brings me back to when i was on the last wave, everyone was basically stunned, waiting to see if we win or lose and i was the only one that wasnt dead, i had to keep spamming turrets, accels and commanders wherever the umbra went, along with empowering any other for with dj and commander. i also had to operate the entire cannon by myself so considering how close she got, i think im the reason we won
For when I won I was in charge in the commander chaining witch is also a good reason I think I contributed good to my team Edit: but on the downside I was the only one on my team without accel
I was in charge of the cannon and I did pretty well Also I guided the team I was in on where to place stuff And we put most of the accels in back And by that we beamed half hp of umbra easily
I reckon you are the reason you won because they exact same thing happened to he in the event, I was offering free carries cuz I have very tower in the game and I'm level 304
I was in charge of the call of arms with my team while another person operated the cannon. 3 of us had accelerators and we barely won. We were all panicking as Umbra got close so I ditched my commanders to fire the cannon as the operator of it was moving towers. Most intense moment of TDS for all of us.
I think Phoqus is so good that Phoqus should just direct every song. These OSTs are the only thing I ever listen to, I have literally abandoned normal music.
i’m surprised phoqus isn’t gaining millions of dollars from this. the hardest boss ever, and the best music ever on tds. even if solar event stays until june 2022, it’ll definitely be unforgettable. good job, i hope you get recognized by your hard work but by a wayyyy larger radius, phoqus.
More like it will end in 25th January because you can look at the season battle pass which said that it will extend the event from 4th December to 25th December. However, the dev could probably delay the next event so yea.
As the towers finish off the last enemies on the field, they see a shadowy figure with yellow eyes come out through the gate. What they see is a majestic sun-creature of some sort. They hear abnormally loud steam hissing. As they see the sky slowly being turned black by the Dark Sun, they lose hope. The Commander yells, giving the soldiers a gleam of hope, maybe this isn't over yet. Maybe we can still *SAVE THE WORLD.*
Honestly, this event has to be my favorite out of the entire events in TDS so far, and a big reason is for the music!! Your work makes this game so amazing, it creates the perfect atmosphere. Thank you 💙
And also this bossfight was the most intense ngl, it's still in my opinion the best bossfight ever. I love this event so much cuz of the music and the super cool design, the lobby was AMAZING TOO green fog and everything, the skins for the towers are THE BEST from that event compared to all other events and finally, the fact that we all had to fight 4 different bosses including Thier mini boss servants that had up to 500,000 health only just to get the most worth it event tower and the most fun journey... this event I will always miss the most 😌😌😌😌

Hey reminder: when she attack,use cannon to stun her for those who didn't know,and if you don't,it give -40 DMG to your base,so make sure you do that.but also there is charging for the cannon,so yeah,wait patiently and don't waste it for nothing.

The fact,it doesn't fit as Raze the void,Why? #1.The beats at mid is faster then Raze the void. #2.There are many other sound effects seem not fit in. #3.this song have a few parts that have offbeats.While Raze the void doesn't.

I’ve been having such a hard time dealing with the umbra and her minions on the final wave to actually hear the music, and dang, do I regret not stopping in the chaos to take a second to hear the awesome music!
Something that I didn’t really like about this night was that it was extremely hard and required intense concentration and needs us to sweat so hard. So I was too busy to admire the enemies and the music . Which is sad
At the beginning I just imagine commander and the rest of the troops looking around with the umbra not to be found in a very tense moment preparing for battle and getting very worried as the tension grows and then seeing the umbra come out and so the battle begins.

A harder vampire is coming, the bat. Your towers have finally has fly detection and defeated them easily. The same enemy from the second night has arrived, the Wraith. You defeated them easily. This time, the zombie horse has arrived. You defeated them easily. The same enemy, the Ent arrived and you also defeated them easily. The ghost knight has arrived and almost reached the cave. The Players yelled, "It’s the werewolf!" He sprinted towards the cave and almost reaches it. And a ripoff Cobalt Guard arrived, the Cursed Guard. You defeated him, knowing the next enemy will be much more harder, yet it’s slightly easier. You defeated the Cursed Knight and will now be taking on the Solar Shard and the Lunar Shard. They were not easy, yet you defeated them. All of the shards were turned to dusts, who you defeated easily. The Penumbras has had enough and yelled, "Your strength is admirable. However, I will not fall to one who is not worthy to be graced by her presence!

On the night of December 7, 2021 lies "The Queen with The Best Guard." at the Totality Tower. She is named The Umbra, and she is the one who caused every second of The Solar Eclipse. As you started placing some towers, Umbra sent Pikes who was the first enemy of Night III. You defeated them, and the knight was coming next. They were easy to you, with your high experience of TDS. You defeated the Knight, and the Clanker is coming next. They were a new enemy and you needed some help. They damaged your base by 5. And as expected, the Wraith arrived. Luckily you installed some hidden detection to some of your towers, and defeated them. Unexpectedly, the Lunar Shard came running to your base and died, sending dusts to go into your base. The dusts died, and you sighed of relief. The first mini boss has finally arrived, and it is Cobalt Guard who was in NIGHT III. It was shot dead by the level 0 Accelerator whom the player was saving up for. Ace Pilots were placed as Vampires arrived to the tower and were shot dead by the planes’ bomb. Whoa. The bomb is strong. The same happened when Bats came and got accidentally shot by the planes’ bomb. Again, unexpectedly, Solar Shard came running down the hallway trying to enter your base. They failed and dropped Dusts who died from a level 2 Accelerator. The Headless Jaxe was actually alive and stronger. He exited the cave and he took place in Umbras Madness Final Night. Jaxe died and the Mega Clanker appeared and was killed by Level 4 Accelerator. The spirits of the Knights, Ghost Knight has exited Umbras Cave and ran there fearlessly. They were defeated and the Cursed Knights came and died as well as Cursed Horses and Cursed Guards. The Flare came out and ran there fearlessly like the Ghost Knights along with Lunar Shields. After the Lunar Shields and Flares were defeated, The Solar Servant and The Lunar Servant came out together. They were defeated and Umbra said: "IT IS TIME.." right after that, Commander spoke in the Radio. He said: "Hello? Anyone there..? We finally made contact! See those charges spawning around the Map? Grab them! You can use them to charge the large cannon and stun the Umbra! If you time your shots right, you can cancel out her attacks!" The Umbra said in a cute style yet scary voice: "were you waiting for me? how sweet of you…In that case, i will be sure to serve you well!" Umbra emerged from the cave and walked weirdly. When she was near dead, she used rage mode and started using her bows. One damaged your base, and another time, you fired the cannon good. You stunned her 2x and she died. Her last words were: "No..This can’t be.. THIS CANT BE!…" Solar Eclipse ended forever, but some consider it "not over."

The world has never seen such thing before. When Jaxe captured Rotfield and murdered the farmers, the allies rushed there. 1 minutes before the allies arrived, Jaxe promised Umbra that he will destroy the allies himself. That failed miserably. The Allies were celebrating their triumph, but the appointed leader, Crook Boss said that it’s not over.
You do that to me, i will kill you guys. i will make sure you never touch her. You will feel my wrath, lost souls.
(Swamp Monster after Jaxe died and before running to Foggy Forest)
Crook Boss: Alright, Alright! Stop celebrating! We did not win yet. We have few more to get to the final stage! Stop lazing around!

Crook Boss: Perfect, We can move. Escorts are arriving in a few minutes, we can go now, but we might not know if it’s the right path. but, we have to continue and save us. let’s go.
Chapter 2: Swamp Monsters Soul
The Allies reached Foggy Forest and started defending the enemies..the forest also looked like an old place.. Polluted Wasteland. Swamp Monster hated them and decided to send out some enemies. All failed, as he called you a lost soul, he died, brutally. [ceased.]
They didn't meet jaxe the umbra instead revived jaxe probably tho we got lunar overture maybe we get a better lore for jaxe after knowing more about umbra's powers at ACT 2

And then 2:04 hits. Triumphant. Filled with determination. Perhaps it is possible to press on and win.
2:38. But don't get your hopes up just yet! You're dealing with *the* Umbra, one of the most powerful foes you shall ever face. And she will not go easy on you.
3:09. Similar to 1:20, but lacks the choir. Still very cool.
And then, near the end of 3:31, it incorporates the melody first introduced at 0:51 in Path of Totality. Ya know, that one where the first 3 notes kinda sound like the lobby theme?
And then, it all loops again from 0:56.
Overall, I love how this track seamlessly switches between the hopeless, evil sections and the determined, triumphant sections, with the fast-paced action-filled battle sections connecting them both.
"Totality". A word used to represent the "whole of something". While I am unsure as to why this track is named that, I am sure of one thing.

I love how this gives the “final stand of humanity” vibe. Seen from the night 4 caption *SAVE THE WORLD.* it means basically you have to stop umbra before the eclipse becomes total. And the atmosphere becomes what you’d have to feel with hype battleing for the fate of humanity (or whatever the race of towers here are.)

this brings me back to when i was on the last wave, everyone was basically stunned, waiting to see if we win or lose and i was the only one that wasnt dead, i had to keep spamming turrets, accels and commanders wherever the umbra went, along with empowering any other for with dj and commander. i also had to operate the entire cannon by myself so considering how close she got, i think im the reason we won
For when I won I was in charge in the commander chaining witch is also a good reason I think I contributed good to my team
Edit: but on the downside I was the only one on my team without accel
I was in charge of the cannon and I did pretty well
Also I guided the team I was in on where to place stuff
And we put most of the accels in back
And by that we beamed half hp of umbra easily
I reckon you are the reason you won because they exact same thing happened to he in the event, I was offering free carries cuz I have very tower in the game and I'm level 304
I was in charge of the call of arms with my team while another person operated the cannon. 3 of us had accelerators and we barely won. We were all panicking as Umbra got close so I ditched my commanders to fire the cannon as the operator of it was moving towers. Most intense moment of TDS for all of us.

They hear abnormally loud steam hissing. As they see the sky slowly being turned black by the Dark Sun, they lose hope. The Commander yells, giving the soldiers a gleam of hope, maybe this isn't over yet. Maybe we can still *SAVE THE WORLD.*

And also this bossfight was the most intense ngl, it's still in my opinion the best bossfight ever. I love this event so much cuz of the music and the super cool design, the lobby was AMAZING TOO green fog and everything, the skins for the towers are THE BEST from that event compared to all other events and finally, the fact that we all had to fight 4 different bosses including Thier mini boss servants that had up to 500,000 health only just to get the most worth it event tower and the most fun journey... this event I will always miss the most 😌😌😌😌

Something that I didn’t really like about this night was that it was extremely hard and required intense concentration and needs us to sweat so hard. So I was too busy to admire the enemies and the music . Which is sad

At the beginning I just imagine commander and the rest of the troops looking around with the umbra not to be found in a very tense moment preparing for battle and getting very worried as the tension grows and then seeing the umbra come out and so the battle begins.
