Do I have to do the configuration in the early part of the video, everytime I login to VS Code?

I could not get any of the github or vscode stuff to sync with Shopify at all. Everything works up until I do the git push origin and then it says "access denied (publickey)". I also can't seem to sync my repository to shopify. It tells me my branches aren't valid themes.

Theme cannot be previewed because it's missing one of these required files: layout/theme.liquid, config/settings_schema.json
