    It’s the strangest thing. I watch a lot of piano videos, but for some peculiar reason, my daughter (who is 19 months old) is like obsessed with watching you play. She legit sat down and watched your entire Grieg performance which Is amazing given that she usually can’t sit down for longer than 30 seconds. So… keep up the good work because you are her obvious favorite pianist.

    Henry Cowell and John Cage in the U.S. pioneered the use of the "prepared piano" and/or extended piano techniques in the 20th century and wrote many pieces for those techniques/preparation. Cage made the piano sound like gamelan instruments. Cowell wrote an eerie piece, The Banshee (an Irish ghost), which calls for the performer to run their fingers up and down the length of specified piano strings to get the desired spooky effect.
