  • Woodturning a Gonk or Norwegian gnome to give them their proper name, because…..well why not😉
    A really fun and fairly easy project, everyone should have a go.
    I’ve turned mine from an as yet unidentified log I had lurking in the shop, a piece of sapele off cut and the left over end of an acrylic pen blank for his bobble.
    To make it even easier you can buy a complete kit with all the wood and fur you need from ‪@TheTinyTurner‬ Emma Cook, and she has an excellent video showing how it’s done, check it out.

    Turned on my @axminster lathe with Axminster and @robertsorbyengland tools. All finished with @HampshireSheen sealer, wax and oil.
