Milla trying to "save the children" is especially messed up if you found that place in the first game that reveals she used to work at an orphanage and it burned down while she was away with the kids trapped inside and due to her psychic ability she could hear them screaming with telepathy
The Psilirium is really playing right into that trauma relating to losing children to a horrible disaster

In terms of plot time, Raz had experienced the Meat Circus a few hours before the start of this game, and after an hour or two-three hours he got almost near death experience. What a good way to totally not traumatize a child.
I can't play this but I decided to watch it since it's basically a Prologue for Psychonauts 2.

@@Scbalq I beat the game a long time ago, sadly I beat it wayyy too fast only took me 2 or 3 days and I was taking my time explo3ing everything but I was playing for too long tbh it was overpriced but I still loved it

It's too bad I don't have VR to play this, but at least I understand the mid-story and connection to the sequel.

Exactly the same for me! I'm in love with the Psychonauts franchise, but I think it was a mistake to have a VR game being the one to connect the first and the second game in terms of plot.
Psychonauts and Half-Life (spoilers for Half-Life Alyx): Get left without a game for 12/13 years > the game finally made is a VR exclusive that seems to be a spinoff but turns out to actually advance the plot and set up for the sequel game
Both companies know what they are doing.

Well psychonauts 2 did came out so if there was Half-life Alyx then there is hope for a half-life 3 later on

This year! we're so close! and unlike all the other years they've said "This year" we finally have evidence. They are doing all of the polishing phases, making sure the game play flow at all moments is super fun for the players. So just like, tweaking things a little bit. Honestly they could probably drop tomorrow and it'd be a perfectly good game but they want to make sure every little detail is perfect.
