Skycamefalling, 7 Angels 7 Plagues, With Dead Hands Rising, Endthisday, Undying, State Fault, Prayer For Cleansing, some amazing bands who barely made any music around the 1997-2003 period.
@@novembersneverending I actually meant their earliest stuff from the self-titled/silent circus era. I actually can't get into their more progressive metal stuff - just not my thing. Love the first two records though.
@@ricricci7511 Why "imploded"? I think they sound very mature here, in any case it does not sound like a demo at all, but like a melancholic "adieu" after FEtS and before eventually disappearing.
I feel older enough to post a long comment, lol. This is such an incredible band! i am just realizing how cool the bass lines are, i was so crazy about this band back to 02, when i was just 14 years old :) my brothers and I started to listen bands like FATA and Poison the Well, which i love too but SCF was always deeper in the heart. It´s such a powerful and emtotional band. We were the first folks in Juarez Mexico who started to play this type of music, and we formed two bands, and it was for bands like SCF who shaped our taste, couple of years later a huge crowd was ready for this scene, we enjoyed our youth playing in local venues, people was so supportive and fun, many of us enjoyed to cross the border to watch pro bands playing in venues, i remember my first show was The Kinison, PTW and The Bled, what a great show, i always wished to see SCF back to those years but a friend from California watched them on a local venue and said that they were freaking awesome.
I rlly wish I was around during that time I'm currently 16 and knee deep into skramz emo and metal core these bands are so gold idk how this band in particular didn't blow up this ep and the two other albums are fuckin amazing
@@omarmunozcastorena4466 where did you come across to see them? in Hell Paso or did you make the trek to Tucson to see The Bled in their element at Skrappy’s? I left AZ before they took off in 2001 and didn’t see them until 03 in MN with Daughters. I still haven’t ever been able to catch SCF myself.
Such an awesome band, too bad they broke up. Their music is still outstanding in this genre, elephant graveyard and to forever embrace the sun are my favorites.
Thanks for the addition OP. Saw these guys a few times in the early 2000s, always thought they were bringing something fresh to the scene...saw them for the last time at Hellfest 2k3. Still throw their stuff on from time to time.
I had forgotten about this EP somehow, even though I absolutely loved Skycamefalling back in the day and I wanted to hear much more like this. They did a re-release of 10.21 that sounds great.
That's me playing drums, I can't believe it's been 20 years.
Let’s start a band
Thanks for the music :)
Did you play in any other bands after this, would be interested in checking your stuff
You killed that shit bro. TFETS and 10.21 are phenomenal
🙌🏽

Endthisday 🤘
PFC and Undying are unmatched, NC hardcore forever

@@paratext fuck yes, colors was one of my earliest metal albums, didnt even find out it was from my state until later

It's criminal that they never made an entire album that sounds like this
i know this sounds incredible
How this band didn't get absolutely massive I will never know. They really had it all.
Unbelievably they imploded ...this sounds like a good demo compared to forever embrace the sun

Such an underrated band :/ I miss them so much...

I saw SCF live back in the early 2000's and they were awesome. Them and Poison the Well are still some of my all time favorite bands.
it didn’t get any better for me back then than Skycamefalling’s 10.21, The Bled and The Kinison.
Agree with all of you guys

It's impressive how many underrated, hidden bands there are in this era.
Perfection
The Elephant Graveyard still might be their best song. Amazing band.

One of my all-time favorite bands
The best, and they’re back❤
