i missed the premier my pc had to be restarted but after starting up i went to listen to this my this is so good so atmospheric , i listened to this on my pc windows 7 and real tech audio with enhancements and headphones for a music experience , you have done it again enzo , i may play this on my retro aiwa hifi

Watched the 5 hour version and it was glorious with subtitles. The full version is very beautiful. Would I watch the 5 hour version again?. Not really. It's one of those 1 in a life time kind of things. I highly recommend it though.

As far as i know the U96 submarine was the most feared submarine in Germany at that time, i have watched the movie once and at the end of the movie i remember a dropped depth charges from an aircraft carrier damages the U96 submarine so badly that it barely gets to the harbor to escape to safety. The movie Das Boot is based on true events during world war II. The sound of the sonar is certainly the most feared sound in a submarine when the hunt has begin and the cruiser has started the hunt with its sole mission to catch you and hunt you down!

You know all those German Sab Marines, they have taken the title : "The Wolfpack" of Admiral Denitz.
