    Bravo. I agree about the first one but still beautiful. I have to say it is far too adventurous for me. I hope you are doing a thriving business with all your creations. No matter if I’m going to try it myself or not, I always learn something I can use in some other way. Thank you for sharing.

    Very impressive, Louise! I like both of them, but I see what you mean about the stinger cells being more defined if you wait "too long" to inject the resin. I have never worked with a deep cast resin, so this is really going to be helpful when I do! Thank you so much for the video! 😊

    Your little lentil trick gave me a great idea for kitchen art. Would it be ok to but dried goods in resin like lentils, dried beans, rice, coffee beans, quinoa? I wonder how they would hold up? They might fall apart from the heat.

    • @LouiseSingletonCreations
      @LouiseSingletonCreations  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, I think those things would work well in Resin, I’ve used dried coffee beans and dried fruit slices and they were fine. I’ve been meaning to try dried chillies and star anise.

    Is your red "holey" spoon like that to keep from making bubbles while stirring? I haven't seen anything like that but i think it makes sense lol

    Hi Louise, I'm absolutely enthralled by your lamps. In your experience (from watching your videos) which do you prefer to put the lights into? That is, the plastic handmade square or the bottle which you cut out before inserting the lights? thank you x

    • @LouiseSingletonCreations
      @LouiseSingletonCreations  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Jill, thank you for your question. It’s not an easy answer really because it all depends on the project. The easiest way is the plastic bottle and it also saves on more resin due to its capacity so if it was a project where the lights could go all the way through the pyramid I would go for the bottle idea every time. The thing with the jellyfish pyramid was, I needed to be able to access the resin to create the tentacles so the bottle wouldn’t have worked in that case so, in conclusion I would say, it depends on the project.
      By the way, I’m glad you enjoyed my videos and I would like to thank you for your kind words xx

    I am in awww! About how much resin do you use ?

    • @LouiseSingletonCreations
      @LouiseSingletonCreations  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m really not sure, I can’t remember. I think a solid pyramid is 1kg so if you take off 1/3 for the cavity that should be close.

  • @Centannicocktails

    Hi!! How come that resin has zero air bubbles?

    • @LouiseSingletonCreations
      @LouiseSingletonCreations  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Maybe it’s the photography :) there were plenty of bubbles but I went with them because you would get bubbles under water (that’s my excuse!) I do find that using a slow curing resin for deep casting really helps because it has a long time to clear up. Also warming the resin in a warm water bath before mixing really helps to eliminate bubbles. Thank you for your comment, it made me smile :)
