As usual, a quality job. Well done. I always pick up some good tips when I watch your videos. My list of tools is getting bigger and bigger every time I see one of your videos. ---Dave
A really nice build Doug, I think I’ll look out for the kit and give it a go. One thing though, does anyone else think there is too much chrome? I always think that tie rods, nerf bars etc would be steel, why go to the trouble of caroming something that is going to get beat up in a race. I could be wrong but I would love to hear from someone who has more knowledge than me.
Thank you for reply and clearing that up. I am a child of the 60’s and British so I have no direct knowledge. If I build this racer I will leave the chrome well alone I promise.
yes NICE LITTLE KIT, BUT HERE IN Australia THEY ARE around $80 PLUS POSTAGE! AND TO BUY THEM FROM THE STATES WE HAVE A 10% import tax and American postage at $32 aus and up, it puts it out of the question ALMOST $100 USD!
CS, It's a a shame I know because they're are kits available from Down Under I can't justify for the same reason. Even buying from Canada here in the states it doubles the cost for us! -Doug

JD, They used to be chromed. Back in the 50's everything was chromed especially on sponsored racers!
Thank you for reply and clearing that up. I am a child of the 60’s and British so I have no direct knowledge. If I build this racer I will leave the chrome well alone I promise.
JD, You can build it however you like. Some internet research will light your path! -Doug
