Good day sir, I wish to know if i can access videos on Patreon if i have subscribed to membership videos? because i tried accessing Patreon videos and i was asked to subscribe again. Thank you .
@@ingrambisseh1781 I just checked and I think this full video requires the $20/month membership. So if you subscribed to the $10/month membership, you wouldn't be able to access it.

I just passed my org 1 final (2 hours ago) and Org 1 overall
im a biology major and for all my stem classes your videos always help me out
I just have Org 2 left for my degree but just wanted to say thx for helping out thousands of students struggling through college
hows orgo 2 going for you? im about to take my orgo 1 final in 2 weeks and im also a bio major
@@jwaterstraw5029 passed og2 definitely harder than org 1 😅
@@jwaterstraw5029 takin my orgo 1 final Saturday
I’m taking my orgo 1 final in 3 days, on Saturday. These videos def helped me a lot but I wish I had found them sooner, cuz like I kinda had to cram them… anyways, wish me luck!

The organic chemistry tutor deserves a Nobel peace prize
that doesnt even make sense
@@WhosParx Obama winning one after bombing Lybia and a ton of other countries doesnt make much sense either...
But he still got one, so Organic Chemistry Tutor winning one makes more sense to me
Literally anyone could do his job
@@blizzard2376 not the way he explains it, at least the stuff I see
@@blizzard2376 anyone can do a half ass job at anything but to fully explain it in a way that makes things click, its not easy.
Let’s just take a moment, pause the video and take our hats off for the mum that delivered this genius.
You sir deserve the best, I’m speaking on behalf of all of us struggling because of “less good” teachers.
Bro this feels like a journey, I started watching you in high school for physics and general chemistry. Now I am in university and you helped me with physics 1 and 2, chem 1 and 2, and now helping me with organic chemistry. I owe you my degree. Thank you so much I will subscribe to your Patreon for sure. THANK YOU!!
It is 2:30 AM. My ochem final is at 10 AM. I am going to watch this entire video. This is my last hope
how’d you do? was it the acs final?
How’d you do ?
How was it? Helpful?
Oh geez😬 How’d you do?
No answer, guess we know what that means 🤷♂️ I’ll give myself at least 2 days 👍🏼
Reviewed all my lecture notes, watched this entire video, then took the ACS and got an 80%. Thanks for the carry throughout the semester.
I watched this entire video the day before my ACS final and made an 83!
BET, I have the ACS in 3 days. Bout to study this
Hey Alia , I am taking the exam tomorrow can you shed light on what is the format of the questions and if they are evenly separated between the chapters ?
I have my ASC on monday and need an 83 to keep my A. THANK YOU FOR THE HINT
The easiest way to remember hybridization.
Hydrogen = s
Triple bond= planar= sp
Double bond= sp2
Single bond= sp3
That's the only way to remember them
Put some lone pair and the hybridisation changes
First of all.... Why didn’t I come here BEFORE the day of my final?! Super helpful!
I wish I had found you earlier in the semester! You make everything incredibly easy to understand, and I actually feel confident about my OChem knowledge for the first time!
I’d like to give you a heartfelt thank you! Your videos have carried me through chemistry & calculus! I took my Ochem I final yesterday. I found out today my final grade in the class is an A and I’m crying tears of joy!
saved my grade more times than I can count. I'm killing orgo hoping to end with an A all because of you. Thank you truly
OChem I final tomorrow, time to try and grind through some topics and make sure all is in the noggin'. You make everything 100× easier to comprehend, thank you so much for these videos. God bless!
howd you do
how did it go man
I ended with a C+, not the best but I will try and go over concepts before my next Semester with OChem 2☺️
Just in time for DAT prep. You are a god among men. You single handedly carried me through both semesters of Gen. Chem and Ochem.
Also watching for DAT prep! Good luck!!
@@ashlynsoule6850 Best of luck to you as well! We got this!
@@JeremiahRaem Reading this 5 months later! How did you do on the DAT?

My ochem exam is literally tomorrow.. you’re a Godsend!
Sameeeee
how did u do? Do you think OCT helped?
@@parthshah7420 I did okay! The video definitely helped me crunch some of the basics.
@@parthshah7420 OCT is the goat at explaining the concepts you learn in class.
I cannot thank you enough for all of your content but especially THIS FINAL REVIEW! Thank you!!!!
Probably an outlier, but I'm using this as review for Ochem2 which I'm taking in the summer. Its been 2 semesters since ochem1 for me, so this has been excellent review! Thanks!
Me, who has a professor with all free response exams: You guys are getting multiple choice?!
me too!!
The ACS is multiple choice
@@imbatmanlol Bro im in cali we got ACS
For fukin real
For question 11 making sense of R or S configurations an easier way is just to draw a Newman projection through the centre carbon bond, then the hydrogen will always be in the back, no need to flip things around and get confused lol.
We finally know why he’s the organic chemistry tutor
Am preparing for my first semester Chem final coming up this week, I've watched three of your review videos now and I gotta say you're an absolute God-send. Thank you so much.
I also have an Ochem 1 exam next week. I have a B+ right now and it's honestly thanks to him. Good Luck with your exam!!!!
I got my orgo 1 final this Saturday and am also at a B+ rn, good luck to all of you!

O-Chem Final tomorrow. I honestly feel more prepared after these two hours than I did studying all my notes for days
How it went?
LIFE SAVER!!!!! MY final exam is tommorow and i wasnt in the mood for reading. This video is perfect.
Orgo final May 8th, great timing as always 💪
GL. Mine is on Wednesday. Hopefully your professor doesn’t cram the thing full of mechanism and synthesis problems like my professor is probably going too.
mine is on friday May 14th, how did your exam go?
Bagus.. Very impresive. Tolong buat video tentang Aldehyde sederhana sehingga easy to understand.thanks ❤😊
I had 2 of your videos already saved in my playlist for the ochem final exam, and I guess you hid the others to upload this lol. I have the final in 2 weeks and I'm studying this ahead of time then restudying my professors quizzes and exams. Wish me luck y'all, I'm nervous!! This is my first actual final exam where it covers everything.
Im in the same boat. Are you taking the ACS final?

Such a great video, thank you from a bio major. My only complaint is the use of blue you always do for alkenes, it's really hard to see.

I have my acs orgo 1 exam tom, this was so helpful!
hey, i was wondering how this related to the ACS Final. Mine is next week and im really nervous
@@poyabigby Hey, the type of questions in the video were similar to the ACS final and on mine majority of the questions were mechanism reactions like question 20. Redo your exams and do a lot of practice. Good luck!
My god thank you for making all of this make sense
Thank you so much I enjoyed all your videos I have watched studying biochemistry is going to be easy with your video
for question 12 how can you say that there is a line of symmetry horizontally? if you fold the molecule it clearly doesn't overlap?
2:00:28 hmmm I’m pretty confident that CrO3 is a strong oxidizing agent, meaning it would yield a *different* product than PCC (a mild oxidizing agent) would. CrO3 reacting with a primary alcohol would produce answer A with the Carboxylic acid, and PCC would give answer B with the aldehyde. Unless I’m mistaken, or not familiar with the nitrogen containing solution/catalyst, I believe A would be the correct answer.
PCC is pyridinium chlorochromate. The reagent in the example is just PCC written out instead of abbreviated. CrO3 in H3O+ and acetone would be the reagents needed to turn a 1-degree alcohol into a carboxylic acid.
Cro3 with acetone is mild O.A but Cro3 with h2so4 is strong O.A
Starting organic this coming semester. Watching this early so hopefully this goes well

I really love your work. You make my understanding very easy 🎊 🎊 🎉
There are three hours until my orgo final and this video is two hours. Perfect
Thank you for your work, however, at 32:00 you state that a Lewis base accepts electrons when in actuality is donates electrons. Hope that helps someone.
You are seriously my hero
this video is so helpful thank you so much!!!
Your videos are the very best
Wow, so the nightlight setting mode makes the blue go invisible, I dunno if its because it's on a black background since other blues show up but the blue in the video is 100% invisible, I was like what are you talking about, you have not put any nitrogens in that structure.
It’s midnight and I have the final tomorrow at 1. Hope this works send prayers😂
Did this video help you
Amazing review. This is great for my Placement test coming up!
man if only my org final was this easy
Isn’t a carbon adjacent to pi bonds one of the orbital hybridization exceptions? Pretty sure #3 is sp2, even though it’s expected to be sp3
The 4th I guest it’s wrong, cacbon just have sp sp2 sp3 only, I haven’t seen any s before
ochem final tomo.. thanks a lot!
I'm a math graduate and I am watching this
My Orgo final is today at 12 have not studied and need a 60 to keep my b. I’ll let y’all know if this helps. Lol wish me luck

Very like your videos it help to catch up loads of thing I learned in the past
sir you are awesome, the way of explanation is very nice.
every part of basic chemistry u r clarifying
life saver as usual!!
it’s midnight and my final is at 8am. Idk why we all do this to ourselves but i’m here for it. Ochem tutor you are absolutely goated.
ACS in 7 hours. Bless up brotha
Not me watching this video at 1:22 AM with my acs exam at 8:30 AM
Hey... at 18:05 why are you counting the H as one to evaluate the hybridization... wouldn't you look at that last carbon and therefor the last two hybridization be sp and sp? So the answer would be D ??
The 8 hours video is so much better. for only 28$ a month you too could pass gen chem
How come you deleted the last 5 questions of this video? It used to go up to 35 questions till yesterday.
Thank you so much!
Bless this man. 🙏
Shouldn't the answer to the fourth question be D ? , I mean why don't we take the last carbon as sp ?
I thought the same thing but he was asking for the hydrogen at the end, not the carbon
Literally thank you so much my dude
is #4 correct? why did you want to find the hybridization of the hydrogen instead of the 5th carbon in the chain? i think the answer is D
The question specifically asked for the hybridization of H and not the Carbon.....which makes it S and not SP. If the question asked about C5 then the hybridization would have been SP
@@ajike but Hydrogen does not undergo hybridization process. Normally, you just have to copy the hybridization of its central atom. In this case, I think that the hybridization of Hydrogen should be sp.
Thank you so much
I still get butterflies thinking about my ochem major exams
Me watching this the day before my final
I don't understand at 31:13, why can't the carbon radical bond with the oxygen? The radical is a "lone electron" right? I'm thinking oxygen can give a way one electron, then the carbon will have have too electrons.
not me watching this 5 hours before my ACS
My o chem final is tomorrow 🙏🙏
Same good luck 🌟
