Jan Andersen, the designer, builder and sailor sailed on the open North- and Baltic Sea many times in the last 5 years. Als me, we got 30+ knots and high waves of the "Vegvisir" Race (double handed) which we won. If you like, you can sail it to the Carbibbean :-)
On Silverrudder 2020 website it lists the Black Marlin result as 32h07m07s, but the course itself is 135nm. It took Black Marlin 32 hours to cover 135nm? That's 4.2kt average. Something is not right. Or am I missing something?
Great and beautiful boat, breathtakingly fast! To me this looks like perfect compromise between speed and comfort. I would be interested to buy such a boat. I see that its now being produced in Bulgaria. Is there a price list somewhere available?
corsair and dragonfly are not full carbon boats (maybe they have such options?). they are much heavier for the same length and there is no way they could compete. this being a 33ft boat is even lighter than a corsair 880 or a dragonfly 28. however, corsair offers cost-effectiveness and dragonfly offers build/design and comfort.
I Dream of building my own Trimaran looking very very much like this one. ⛵💪🙏🥰
I really like this trimaran. It is clearly fast. Would be curious to know more about it's safety specs for passages and long journeys.

I am so enamored with this trimaran. 20kts on a 33ft trimaran is EPIC! Would love to be on a mailing list. What was the TWS when you hit 20kts?
Please send me your email and you get the news. Our contacts are here: www.marlintrimarans.com/contact/
20kts speed at 15kts wind.
@@RolandGaebler OUTSTANDING!! and expected. Thank you.
@@RolandGaebler that is 100% in line with the KSP value of 1.33 that I calculated for this boat !
How much do these go for pls . ?
In Uk an interested in a tri from 25to 35 feet for use in the Solent UK.
❤❤❤🙏🙏👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🥃🥃⛵️⛵️
Love Marlin 😘
is this going into production? how much?
Somebody needs to do a similar test on a Dragonfly 40...
How does this stack up against other Trimarans like Rapido/Corsair, Dragonfly, Waarschip Composites/Grainger Designs TR-36. Anyone have any idea?
I don't know but the "fastest boat in Northern Europe" claim seems hyperbolic when the Seacart (to name just one) exists

take a look at each year's silverruder result. this thing smoked any corsair or dragonfly.
