TBH team USA's Defense is the Laziest I've ever seen in a olympic team and it only shows the Level of Defense they play now in NBA. Do they forget how to defend and handcheck?!???

The other teams run a lot more motion offense because of their time playing together. That's an advantage on both sides. Their motion gets them good looks. They don't have to defend motion. Allows them to spend less energy and usually foul less. Lower % of good shots.
I like these games being close. Its more exciting this way. (I say as a person that has no race in this game because my country isn't in. I'm rooting for fun games and hopefully a podium place for Serbia as a Nuggets fan.) Also hope Greece does well because this has been a fairy tale story for them and Giannis.

Definitely not looking good. Yes, international teams are getting better, the three ball being used effectively for the first time evens things out a lot, but Team USA simply looked awful. The fact is the USA is never going to be that great on defense because that's not how the game is played in the NBA. Besides the impressive block or two, the defense will always be lackluster. This means they need to be unstoppable on offense and go for high scoring games. LeBron has showed that the US can bully other teams if the need is there, which it is. USA needs to just start doing that right away and run the score up. It's the only way they'll compete against international sharpshooters from 3 (since they're not playing effective defense out there). Steve Kerr is fucking things up badly. Instead of just saying, "we're here to win and I'm playing the best team, period," he seems to be catering to egos. The starters should be playing more to get in a better rhythym (the proper starters), like a normal basketball team.
