@@CCR414 The oil modification video brought me here. I dug out my 340 X block to build this winter and needed a place to start. Im still torn between my soild MP cam or go solid roller.
I saw an engine masters episdoe where steve dulcich did this mod on a set of heads. Fryburger and the other dude were doubting how much gain this would give him but the results on the dyno didnt lie! This really added some power !
The W2 rocker shaft hold downs are made for long valves and valve springs. I wanted to use standard length valves in the W2 heads, so I rotated the W2 rocker hold downs 90 degrees and machined them for the hold down bolts. I kept the 45 degree angled corners of the rocker pedestals in the original position, which required turning them around after rotating them.
Thanks! I'll try to watch, I have been extremely busy, but hope to be cranking out some more content soon. I can use all the help I can to improve the channel, so, thanks again.
That’s hotrodding at its finest! I wish I had the skills and tools to do that sort of custom work. Thanks for sharing. That’s definitely not your average small block!
Thanks. It was bought a little at a time, as I hit overtime jobs. Older machines can still produce good results. They just take more time to get the job done.
Just found your channel. You are a genius.
Just an average guy here. I showed your comment to my wife, she disagreed....
Thanks for watching!

Golly !!
Thats how its done!!!!
Thanks. a lot of work, but fun!
Keep up the good work!!!! Very nicely done!!!!
Thank You! I have been working a crazy amount of overtime, and can't wait to get back on my motor.
NICE!! I think a Edelbrock Super Victor intake has enough meat to port-match to those ports and bolt up LA conventional pattern!
Thanks for the info. I'll have to check one out sometime. It would be a fun comparison.

Hey brother. I'm subbing you. I'm also trying to get the 500 NNN QUEST. HOPE WE MAKE IT.
