    Notes:
    I was trying to make this a much shorter version so that people can see how easy it really is.
    As you watch me pushing the 40 foot section of 1 inch pipe down, you’ll notice that it actually goes through a hard layer of clay.
    Also, there is a 2 inch casing that the 1 inch well pipe goes down through. You just can’t see it in this short version.
    I really hope everyone enjoys the video and please comment with any questions or tips you might have for other viewers!
    Thanks,
    Chuck

    I too drill 25 foot shallow wells in FL using the HF 2 inch pump ......(200 and still counting).....I use two 1.25 inch drill pipes ...one 15 foot ...one 10 foot... connected with quick disconnects "Banjo 125A Polypropylene Cam & Groove male / female Fittings". Start with 15 footer.....jet down to 14 feet...disconnect top water manifold ....attach 10 footer.....reconnect water manifold.......jet down to 25 feet....... shut off pump....pull up drill pipes and "QUICKLY" drop down a 5 foot well point previously welded to 20 feet of 1.25 pipe. Total time from start to finish 12 minutes per well......
    Normally, I drill 3 wells and use a 1 HP Sta rite HNE jet pump (22 GPM 50 PSI) to convert from city water (14GPM 50 PSI) to well water for lawn irrigation.

    Does the check valve need to be at the bottom end of the pipe? If it can be at the top, then you can use a well point, (instead of switching pipes and hoping the casing don't collapse) as your jet, and go down as deep as the sand layer will allow.

    I have a question, you already found water at 3ft only using a pole digger... But, will you always found water, lets say, at 40-60ft regardless of the terrain? at least, to get a couple gallons every day? I´m asking this, because i´ve been watching you for a while from Mexico, and i want to get one for myself on my backyard, but i have no idea about the depth the water is on my backyard... so i´m curious before spending the money to get all that, or has anyone else have any idea?

      Get yourself some dowsing rods or make some out a a metal coat hanger and som plastic straws and check for water with them. Here’s the thing that everyone gets freaked out about dowsing rods they think it’s some supernatural thing, but it’s just science. Everything has a vibration/magnetic field and waters is really strong which is why it moves the dowsing rods. If the water is too beep for the dowsing rods to work there are ways to look up on line where the water table is in your area and how deep. Hope that helps.

    Do you think this method would work for deep depths that require a submersible or convertible pump in the final install? I need to go 40-60 feet i think. Ive done 20 with a auger but im definitely looking for something more effective at deeper depths.

    • @thehillsidegardener3961
      @thehillsidegardener3961 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I am wondering the same thing. You need a wider bore in order to sink at least a 4" pipe that a submersible pump will fit in. Also you are sinking a permanent casing as you go, filter section first. I am kind of wondering how deep you can go with this. I am game to try... But I need at least 130 ft, not sure if it's realistic..

      @thehillsidegardener3961 I am having a miserable time with this project. I am losing so much sleep and using so much time. My 2 inch pipe is stuck at 31 feet. I probably should have started with 4 inch pipe so that my 2 inch pipe didn't get stuck. Anyway. My water is 40-50 feet down. This weekend I am going to say fuck it and sink as much 1 inch pipe as possible down my 2 inch pipe. This guy in the video sunk 1 inch pipe 40 feet the ground all by itself. If I can get the same results, I will be at 70 feet and I'll be able to pump up the water with an air hose. Look up air lift pumps for weels.

      @@flecktards3126 Yeah, maybe sometime you just have to call it quits. I have just discovered we in fact have to go down over 600 ft to reach a proper confined aquifer and that's not gonna happen with this method so probably you have to decide how deep is good enough to provide at least an acceptable volume and quality of water.

    Hey, im currently working on this method. What kinda of water usage to returns are you getting with this? I was moving really quick at first but i just did a run where i only got 3 feet out of 100 gallons of water. I do not have a well and i do not want to deplete my rain water so ive been driving to the lake and filling 55 gallon drums with water. Is it better to have the water jetting out the top of the pipe or down bottom out the sides? I also have a hard time wiggling the pipe down and operating the jet. Should i focus more on working the pipe or the jet? And also. My discharge pipe is the 2 inch hose to 1 inch pvc but i still feel like i am going through water way too quickly. My 100 gallons of water was gone in less than 60 seconds. I see youre able to pump water for 15 minutes? Anyway. Just looking for all rhe advice you can give me lol. I'm trying to jet down 2.5 inch pipe in hopes of either because able to run a submersible or airlift pump. But yeah? Any advice?

    • @flecktards3126
      @flecktards3126 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Also. Hypothetically, how far do you think I could jet the 1 inch pipe down? Indefinitely? Because if I do an air compressor pump I don't need a larger diameter pipe but I do have to go deeper. For an air compressor pump to work my lift can only be half of my depth. So I think if my water is at 30-60 feet, then I'd have to sink 40-80 feet down.
