It doesn't have the perimeter weighting system bulges at the side that Wilson Pro staff racquets had, and the head is too big and the shape too rounded. I'm guessing it's one of the Dunlop Revelation racquets Dunlop was trying to persuade Steffi to use.
That's correct - both in the look and also the period. It was still too early for the Wilson or any Wilson because it was in 93 when Steffi would have been testing out Wilson, and also regarding the new contract matters! Because it was at the 94 Australian Open when Steffi debuted the Wilson and the new contract with the company.
According to the commentator she changed back to her old material after she got broken in the very first game. This particular changover is not shown here but her refered to it clearly.
@@alexsdb9712 I remember reading something years ago that Steffi left Dunlop because they could no longer pay her as much for endorsing their racquets, I guess €$£ is one of the most common reasons player switch companies. Peter Graf was reported to have said 'Dunlop does not know how to market tennis racquets'.

Matt Wilson I know she had been experimenting with different racquets from 91-93 eventually settling on what was called her “white wand” the ProStaff 7.0 Lite. Then moving to the ProStaff 7.5 then to the 7.1. She was able to hit harder with a lighter racquet.
You are absolutely right! Ultimately her racquet was and 85 square inch 18 X 20 only available in Japan. I know she also tested Prince and Yonex but not in competition. The Wilson was closer to the Max 200G which is an amazing racquet. ; ) Saw her play live against Seles at MSG. Was AMAZING! Great catch! Great champion!

Also, the racquet head looks too big and the shape doesn't look very Wilson. Maybe one of the Dunlop Revelation racquets Dunlop was trying to persuade Steffi to use?

It doesn't have the distinctive bulges on the side that Wilson Pro staff racquets had (the "perimeter weighting system"), the shape of the racquet is too round and the string pattern too open. I googled the Dunlop Revelation racquets and the shape is much more like that
That one woman yelling everytime Hy made a winning shot annoying as hell and if you must be annoying why not be that way for both women . Hy supposedly such a great player so some say yet loss to a Steffi who was obviously not feeling well. So much for that i'm sorry but in my humble opinion had Steffi been 100% it would not have gone to 3 sets.
It's a Fed Cup match so obviously there were Pro Canada fans, not a big deal She didn't yell at unforced errors by Graf, so what's the problem And they played in 87 , also in the Fed Cup and Graf won , also a tough 3 setter, so Graf was not well then too ? Why do pro Graf fans always bring up her not feeling well when she loses or goes 3 sets against a non top tenner? Hy played her game and gave Graf problems

Good effort by Hy in this match , always a tricky player with a few quality wins against top 20 and also pushed Martina twice to 3 sets
