This is pure Gold!!! Thank you! I seriously thought I had chronic fatigue or was lacking in certain vitamins and minerals, but my levels were fine. This explains ao much!!! Anyone here ever almost passed out from the pain or felt nauseous even when you weren't on your period?
Literally same here. I do not lack any vitamins/minerals, I sleep A LOT and still feel like I have worked for ten days without sleeping. I couldn't have a laparoscopy yet because my mother does not want me to have one, but it has been more than seven years now that I am (not diagnosed, but probably) suffering from endometriosis. I have fatigue ALL the time, but it gets even worse when on my period... So, I do not know if it links to endometriosis or anything else. Also, my WHOLE family and many friends think that I am literally just lazy, and I just broke down because my mother just yelled at me because I am "lazy" and I "only had pain yesterday and now I should help her out more" (yesterday I literally fell on the floor and screamed because of pain, today she does not believe that I have any fatigue just because my pain is not visible). My father said the same just a few minutes before her. I just do not know what to do and how to make them believe me...
I've had massive fatigue for years, and while my low vitamin D was part of it, it wasn't all of it. Had surgery for an endometrioma, endometriosis, and fibroids a month ago, and despite having fatigue as I recover, I do feel much better.
I have servere fatigue a week or two before my period. And bad pain. The fatigue Its so debilitating i can't do any thing.i feel tranquillised Still seeing specialist to see if i have endometriosis had scans done nothing shows its been going on for years. No confirmed diagnosis yet
Endometriosis often won't show on scans, though it's more likely to show on MRI than ultrasound. Doctors should still be able to treat you as if you have it, especially if you aren't a candidate for a laparoscopy to look for and excise endo.
I have an endometrioma in right ovary in starting I have pain in pelvic during periods but as the treatment going on I m feeling the pain all the time with black discharge, my CA 125 is 54. Doctor suggested go for medication instead of surgery and saying that it is only a cyst don't be panic but I have whole body pain in every joint also.plz suggest me
Has your doctor suggestion pain medication or birth control pills to reduce your periods? because mine gave me a few options between level 1 being pain killers to manage pain and level 4 being surgery. Apologies if my explaination below is a little rudimentary, I am new to this too and my information may not be medically accurate. Level 1: Pain killers. if you're able to manage pain with just this. You can stick to it. Level 2: Pause 500 mg tablets. You take this every day for 3 months starting the 2nd day of your period and it stops your period for 6-7 months. And you can do this again once it starts back up. Level 3: Going on birth control pills. Level 4: Surgery. I ofcourse am not suggesting you do anything i say, but hopefully this might help you understand that there are more options than just pain killers or surgery. You can maybe take a second opinion from another gynac and ask them about these options.
I also had an endometrioma on my right ovary. It was 8~cm when found, I was put on Orilissa for suppression, and then had surgery to remove it, at which point it was 13 cm. If it's more than 5 cm it puts you at risk for ovarian torsion, which can be painful and dangerous. My doctor also found a few spots of endometriosis, which he removed.
Thank you this has helped me feel less like I’m lazy

My doctor prescribed me birth control pills for three months, and now she is suggesting to go for surgery.
