Personally I actually like samurott quite a bit, it was my first ever starter, I think the samurai motif is pretty cool, and it has a great signature move. Even though Superior is now my favorite starter, Samurott is still pretty epic. Not gonna defend sumo-pig though, cool shiny aside it definitely drags down an otherwise amazing starter trio.
Especially since he called the gen 8 starters UNDER designed. They look great, and the pop culture references really gave them a special place in my heart.

There's literally nothing wrong with Meganiums design. Designs that have too much detail and/or colors is where the problem lies. A simple and straightforward design (Muk) will always be superior to one that's overwhelmed with color and details (Garbordor).

Personally I actually like samurott quite a bit, it was my first ever starter, I think the samurai motif is pretty cool, and it has a great signature move. Even though Superior is now my favorite starter, Samurott is still pretty epic.
Not gonna defend sumo-pig though, cool shiny aside it definitely drags down an otherwise amazing starter trio.

There's literally nothing wrong with Meganiums design. Designs that have too much detail and/or colors is where the problem lies. A simple and straightforward design (Muk) will always be superior to one that's overwhelmed with color and details (Garbordor).

Johto is so fucking overrated. It was my first pkmn game, but the starters are so fucking boring. Meganium just has a flower on its neck, feraligator is just a crocodile on 2 legs.
