I have never been overweight and i simply have no way to understand what that really is like but i have a lot of sympathy for you and i really appreciate you sharing your perspective. I have been really depressed though and i get the feeling of being overwhelmed with your own situation. What helped me a lot was simply taking small steps at a time and not talking down on urself. And sure people have expectations and ideas on what you should do and thats fine but back when i was in a bad place i shut that off, i ignored them all and took things at a very small pace.
I always love hearing ur perspective on life, thanks for sharing and keep it up.

Hello mate. Life is complicated and our feelings and perceptions are aswell. I have recently found a way to lose the weight and to alleviate the depression and it was simply this: I decided to change for myself primarily, but also to be a better person to my family and those around me. Once I got my mind right as best i could, I decided to lose some weight to be and feel healthier again. This time, I slowed things right down and that meant a once a week light workout in the gym and doing two or three walks per week. I gently changed my diet and combined with the light exercise and better eating I finally feel that after years of suffering that I am actually going to do this. I plan on increasing the gym visits, but to keep it light and to improve my diet some more. But the key thing is here to slow it all down and make small changes as this is a long term lifestyle change. If you go too hard too quickly, as i have done in the past you will fall off the wagon. The best way in my experience is to set small weight goals and move up to them slowly and in your own time. Be well and I really enjoy your honest videos as I have been here before and it is very hard both mentally and physically.

Family is a good motivator. You dont want to hurt them by having them see your declining health. Imagine the scare you could give them with potential strokes or heart attacks. Well said.

I lost 40kg and got back to normal weight almost by an accident. 3 years ago I just lost all interest in alcohol and haven't had any since. Unexpectedly(?), I started loosing weight 2kg per month just because of that, without doing anything else. Only after I had lost significant amount of weight I started to pay some attention to eating. And only after I had lost 30kgs I started to do some exercising.

Have your T levels checks if you haven’t already. I am in early 30’s but had the levels of like an 80yo man. I started on TRT and it’s helped not only physically , but mentally just as much. It’s wont fix everything but it’s a great start. You seem like such a wholesome dude God bless you my friend.

Mourn the pizza I didn't eat....lol😁 .....I guess it's a matter of not going to extremes. I'd rather eat pizza than have 6 pack abs, that's just me.

one time, i was able to get out of being fat, it took me 3 hours of swimming non stop to do that, was only possible because of a silly excuse to myself that made me temporarily determined to loose fat, so i just did it, with the help of adrenaline as well, sometimes, you may be able to get out of the vicious cycle through using an excuse in a proper manner that helps you, other times, a realization of you surroudings, or perception, will give you the strenght to change, without a strong enough personal reason and motivation, you may find it impossible to keep going or to be determined to change, this doesnt mean you need to find it alone, you can always be helped and receive the words you need to think about and ask inwards to yourself, and find the answer to become able to transform yourself and change your life completly.

    Nice to see another video.
    As for weight and such.
    Do a so-called "whatever diet"
Eat exactly what you want within your Calorie budget for the day. so if you want cake for breakfast go ahead.
Ironically doing this does not make you eat just unhealthy foods like many think, rather the opposite in many cases and it eliminated my binge eating almost completely.
Its a bit tedious in the begging because you will obviously need to weigh and calculate every meal.
However after doing that for a while you will be able to guesstimate it without weighing the food.
Try to accept yourself as much as possible and accept that your food managing will be a challenge for life potentially.
For exercise Just do whatever you want. Just walking 20-30 minutes here and there and that alone will give massive benefits. The fact that you need to work out hard to be healthy is a myth and they have found walking to be just as beneficial for heart health as jogging.
I had 5 Jojo weight loss journeys starting at 10 or so. the way I describe it here was the only way I was able to keep it off longterm. Lost around 90 lbs and kept it off since for 8 years.
