Past July I went to place order for Perfect Days 4k about a week into month and it was already sold out online at both Barnes & Noble and Amazon, and remained so rest of month. So this early riser struck the hot iron at 5 a.m. this morning and snatched Perfect Days 4k, along with blu-ray of I Knew Her Well ( a Criterion Channel favorite of mine). Will pick up a few more as month progresses. Definitely getting Arrow's 4k of A Simple Plan, possibly Play Misty for Me 4k. Agree, Invasion of Body Snatchers 4k is superb, my most recent purchase...Kino Lorber 4k sale is also being price matched by Amazon, and GRUV has new sale up, 4k titles at 2 for $24, lots of best sellers, mega hits. November off to a great start all around. Thanks James.

Picked up 16 titles and put a hold on 7 others that will be coming in throughout the month in order to stay current. Aside from that I wanted to ask if you saw that Vinegar Syndrome has put up Looking For Mr. Goodbar as one of their pre-orders this weekend for the coming Black Friday sale. This will be the 1st time the film has been available since laserdisc and something I thought you might be interested in, in case you weren't yet aware.

@ It’s great and somewhat atypical for Hawks. He was clearly under the influence of Murnau at the time and moved his camera more than usual. There’s a stunning tracking shot very early. Also being a precode film he was allowed to get away with a bit of a risqué brother sister angle.
I leisurely strolled into B&N today and paid for the three titles I put on hold for pickup a couple days ago. The titles I got are: Bound 4k+br, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and The Passion of Joan of Arc. I may get Round Midnight but have never seen it and don't know if I like it enough to own it. Will watch the dvd from the library before to see if I will ever rewatch it. For future releases, I would love to see a blu ray of "7 Faces of Dr. Lao".

I was thinking of upgrading my DVD of Scarface for years, glad I didn’t. My favorite early gangster film along with Public Enemy.

Nice. Enjoy those pickups! The Passion of Joan of Arc is an excellent release as is Fantastic Mr. Fox, and I’ve heard good things about Bound.

I picked up Demon Pond as part of flash sale. It was good and worth getting. I recommend Sword of Doom the 60s Japanese samurai film with Nakadai.
