Wow. When going from Godzilla vs Ultraman 3 to Godzilla vs Ultraman 4, I was like, “Oh cool. It’s animated instead of stop motion now.” When going from Godzilla vs Ultraman 4 to Godzilla vs Ultraman 5, I was like, “ Whoa, the quality increase is crazy.”
The opening was definitely sad & emotional. Having Godzilla witness the death of his father at such a young age, definitely a true tear jerker.....& Godzilla waking up from that terrible memory flashback, even though he's full grown, he still misses his father.

Godzilla watching his father die right in front of him at a young age reminded me of Mothra's death scenes in Rebirth of Mothra 1996 and Godzilla Tokyo SOS. Both tear jerkers.
