Oh this was so fun! Thank you for the tag! I will definitely get to this! Haha I say that every time don’t I, but I mean it! 😅 I’ve filmed three more tags I think so I’m gonna catch up eventually! Anyways, loved hearing your answers for this, such a great variety of books. I’m intrigued by Loved and missed, and even Kingfisher! The covers are so pretty but I’m still a bit scared 😂 And I really enjoy the Ulysses Six, you are such a great group! 🌟
Loved and Missed broke my heart, but it's a great book. Kingfisher is not scary. It's actually funny in many parts. You will love her too.😉 But no pressure from me!
Loved your take on the Nightclub Book Tag! 🎉 I joined the fun & brought the tag all the way to Germany/Europe. 🌍 Can't wait to see more of these awesome videos. Keep rocking it! 📚✨🚀 #BookTagBuddies
These are fun prompts! The Spear Cuts Through Water looks so adventurous. I think the Louise Erdrich party should take place in her bookstore, and I'm coming! We really cannot say too much about James. Great tag!
Excellent choice of party guest. I started reading Erdrich in 1984 when she debuted with Love Medicine and have been navigating the stories of her characters’ interwoven family trees ever since. My favorites are The Last Report on the Miracles at Little No Horse and The Plague of Doves.
I also started with Love Medicine. I still need to read Plague of Doves, which so many people recommend. I don’t know how I missed it, but I guess I did. One of these days…
Me either! I just loved this 1970's-ish picture. Nightclubs are not my scene, but I liked the tag and thought the prompts were fun. T. Kingfisher was a great new find for me. I like her characters. I've read a bunch now, and they are all fun--witty and smart and quick and not hard core horror, which I know I can't read. I think she's very, very good.
I am jotting down all of your mystery recommendations! A series I recently stumbled upon and loved is the Vera Kelly series by Rosalie Knecht - beautiful writing, mix of mystery and history - and great covers!
Oh this is brilliant! Definitely seems like my kind of night club… Your answers are wonderful. Disco Ball definitely has my head spinning as I try to imagine an answer.
Great questions and answers! This was fun. I can't read through the night either. In fact, I've never been able to do that. I also don't get book "hangovers". When I am totally loving a book, I just don't want it to end!
What a unique tag! I have also not been in a nightclub for MANY years! I would also love to invite Louise Errdrich over - she's one of my favorites as well. I love all her novels, but The Sentence is my favorite! I enjoyed hearing your responses. Thanks for the tag - some of these prompts are a bit challenging for me, but this will be fun!
Pat if you have not listened to Andy Serkis’s narration of the Hobbit I highly recommend it! He just makes Tolkien ‘s stories even more wondrous if that is possible! Your library free audio app should have it.
What a fun tag and thanks for tagging me! Many of these books you talked about are on my list (Anna K, The Hobbit, Ulysses and A House with Good Bones). Love and Missed sounds like it would make me cry too, for sure. I put James on my list! I can't read very long past 8pm anymore either or my eyes start to close when I'm reading :D
Oh thanks for the tag. This sounds like a lot of fun to do. :) My husband is a HUGE Hobbit fan, but that is a book I have never been able to read. The City We Became sounds like it might be a good fantasy to try for me.
Great answers. The only Erdrich book I’ve read is The Round House, and I actually didn’t like it very much. That interesting to hear you say Anna Karenina kept you up all night. I have it, but haven’t read it… have put it off because of the length. I didn’t realize it was that exciting of a story! I’m doing this tag pronto!
@@BookBlather I don’t think Anna K was exactly exciting. I can’t remember why I stayed up all night to finish it. I was 18. I couldn’t do that today if my life depended on it! With regard to Erdrich, I loved her fairly recent novels, The Night Watchman and The Sentence.
HA!! That made me laugh out loud--AGAIN! Thanks for coming to the livestream tonight and for participating so thoughtfully. It really was a lot of fun. I had a very difficult day today, and it did my heart a world of good to laugh like that. Thanks again.😊
Great answers Pat! Thanks for the tag. ❤
A fun one, for sure! No pressure, Kim, but I know you'll have fun with it if you decide to do it.
Thanks for the tag Pat. Lots of good prompts.
It was a fun one to do--different. I will look forward to your responses should you choose to do this one.
I love your answers. Thanks for tagging me
Thanks, Stuart. I'll look forward to your responses! But no pressure....

I just put Love & Missed on my TBR! And James!
Both so wonderful in very different ways.
What a fun tag. It reminded me of Like Water for Elephants, which I enjoyed a lot. Thank you, Pat.
I did think about that one too! This was a fun tag to do.
What interesting prompts. I haven’t been in a nightclub since the 80s. I really need to pick up T. Kingfisher.
