Very sharp. It's amazing how things like realistic boom section profiles and swiveling hooks are achieved in this scale but 1/50 models struggle with it. I understand alot of boom sections are made of diecast and wall thickness issues come into play but they should all be done in aluminum by now. I get that it's more expensive but I'm willing to pay a little more for a more realistic model. Just my 2 cents, another great review Ian! 👍
you should also review their new 1/87 LTM 1750!
Luffing jib release next.
I love it!!
Very nice😉😉
I’m actually if kranlab releases a luffing jib for this crane in 1:87 scale.
Yes this'd be good
I think I will buy this crane and upgrade kit, but in traditional liebherr's yellow
Eu tenho lieberr ltm 1500 da wsi e da mammoet e muito realista essa miniatura..

no way!!!!
i have a idea for some lego machine you could review,i know your not a lego channel but i think it may be interesting to a little change of pace
2009 lego city construction wave:
7630: "Front end loader"
main takeaway:a simple wheel loader with bucket attachment
Pros: simple, has a thingy to keep the bucket up for heavier loads
Cons: a bit too simple, with many exposed studs
7631: "Dump truck"
main takeaway:a articulated dump truck, most likely based off a Volvo one
Pros:large bed to carry stuff, refined design
Cons:still a lot of exposed studs, lacking rear covering so stuff can fall out the back
7632: "Crawler Crane"
main takeaway: largest non Technic crane(i think)
Pros: lots of detail and functions
Cons: some parts look somewhat unfinished/disorganized but thats mostly nitpicking
7685: "Dozer"
main takeaway: large bulldozer
Pros: very detailed engine and opening cab doors, has a U blade
Cons: very limited blade movement(only allowing very limited up and down movement),no ripper, and a bit too big even though its branded as construction it would look more at home in a mine
7746: "Single drum roller"
main takeaway: single drum soil compactor/road roller
Pros: realistic and functional
Cons: lots of exposed studs
2015 lego city demolition wave:
60074: "Bulldozer"
Main takeaway: a more to-scale bulldozer with more functions then the last one
Pros: better blade movement with better elevation and tilt, has a working ripper, and has hidden rudder wheels to allow the treads to roll on flat surfaces
Cons: less detail
60075: "Excavator and Truck"
Main takeaway: has a wheeled excavator along with a conveyor and dump truck
Pros: material handling claw, conveyor for easy truck loading
Cons; i really wish it was a tracked excavator,we only got one big one in lego city
60076: "Demolition site"
main takeaway: while its supposed to be focused on the site,it has a small articulated dump truck,a wheel loader, and a smaller crawler crane
Pros:crane has a rubber wrecking ball to carry on its hook and also has a tilting cab, loader looks more refined and smooth,3 machines in 1 set deal
Cons: dump truck is based on a compact design, crane looks really weird due to lack of large counter weight, loader looks a bit too wide and too short
2005 lego city construction wave (pretty rare):
7248: "Digger"
main takeaway: a rather strange looking excavator
Pros: one of the only large tracked excavators in lego city(the other tracked ones are very very small)
Cons: looks wack
7344: "Dump truck" (yes, this is a different one from 2009):
main takeaway: largest mining dump truck in lego city,(remade in 2012,but worse)
Pros:very very large, maybe even the biggest lego city vehicle ever
Cons: the bed is just one large peice which takes away from the building experience (if you're that kind of person)
7249: "XXL Mobile crane"
Main takeaway:was the only set to feature a mobile crane that wasn't a side build to something else until 2022,is also very large
Pros: large, articulated, and the front section can be detached to convert it to a all terrain crane
Cons: may be a bit to large for the scale of lego city
2022 great vehicles wave (isnt construction focused but has a crane)
60324: "Mobile Crane"
main takeaway: a mobile crane that is on the somewhat smaller side
Pros: compact but can reach some height, only lego city crane to feature real hydraulics
Cons:small enough that if it were used outside of the 2022 lego city wave,it cant lift anything on top of anything
and thats not even mentioning the endless amount of mining, earth moving, and lifting vehicles in lego Technic...
Thanks. Of course I cannot review everything. The focus for Cranes Etc has always been scale models, and the Lego City range is probably closer to being children's toys. I have reviewed a couple of Technic models.
@@CranesEtcTV Understandable, and also, have you heard of the Technic Liebherr LR 13000 set? it was supposed to release this year but got delayed to next year. And it may or may not be of interest to you because its quite a large crawler crane
