I was resting on my couch, and suddenly I hear "Louie Louie" on 🎺trumpet in my dreams💤, i thought? I woke up and yelled to my husband that sounds like Bill 🎶 🎺He says yep, he suprised us with a bonus song 🎵 I guess my husband is one of your "groupies" too🤣 We both enjoy your music videos!! Keep them coming🎶🎺
Thanks for putting this up. And is is wonderful that you were able to be a part of an Olympics. I covered The PanAm games and The National Sports Festival as a photographer. In high School our band performed at Expo '67 in Montreal. You don't forget having to play seven cores to a crowd and expands as far as you can see in every direction, then having the arranger of "The Man With the Golden Arm", one of the pieces you played, come to the podium after the concert to tell us how much he enjoyed our performance and how well we played the piece he arranged. Music is wonderful to be a part of.
In many ways, sports and music are alike. We both work hard at our crafts, and perform in front of appreciative audiences. I've been to a few Mets games at the old Expo - very cool place. Sounds like we had similar feelings playing for such big events. Great stuff. 🎺
thanks for the tip about the blues scale. Interesting how well those notes work. Had some fun with this until my chops died. Also love that you trasncribe the guitar solos as they are a nice challenge that keeps me coming back until i get them down.
By today's standards, the guitar solo seems a bit hokey, but it's a great place to start if you want to explore the blues scale. Glad you're enjoying the vids. Thanks for watching! 🎺
Love it Mr. B , and Thank you for the Bonus track ! It took me back to my High School Pep Band days ! played this many times and never got tired of it and was always fun to improvise and jazz it up even more, which help me alot with my improvation and articulation skills ! Your the man !
Ah... the pep band. I wish we had a pep band at high school. I used to bring my trumpet to basketball games and play "charge", and the 1st eight bars of a ton of pieces in between play. Woulda been more fun with a group... 🎺
Hello it's Matt again ! I mentioned the Spinner's Rubber band man about a week or so ago and thought of another great Spinner tune you might think about doing . It's the Spinners - Could It Be I'm Falling In Love ! Thanks again for the Bonus cover and all your hard work in making them !
Sí, la escala de blues es esencialmente una escala de C menor 7. No estoy seguro de lo que quieres decir con "4my4M". Y finalmente, sí, mi trompeta es el modelo Yamaha Bobby Shew. 🎺
Man, this one is SO fun! And i used the blues scale as suggested for guitar solo...super cool. Thanks, Mr B

@@MrBsCOVERS I just discovered a photo of that arranger, Alfred Reed, speaking to us after that concert.
@@MarkWick Wow! Now that's cool. I can't think of many people more important to concert band music in the 20th century than Alfred Reed !

Nice, Love it!
La escala de blus sería la Cm7 y le agrego 4my4M? Y otra pregunta la trompeta es una Bobby shew?
