Great video!! Loved the demos of how these machines worked. Also really liked the broom demo. i can remember the straw from the top near the handle being plucked and with the curved part broken off used as a cake tester to see if the cake or muffffins were done!!!
I can't thank you enough for taking me along! I miss attending the steam shows. While we had restored Farmals, the "hit and miss engines and the steam tractors are my passion. I could watch them all day long. What "game changers" they were! I can't thank you enough!!❤❤😊
Wish I would have went to meet you. I always head right for the hit-n-miss ,just love them all. The grand prize for one I have never seen is the jack hammer. You will find more cushmans here than anywhere else because they were made in Lincoln, Nebraska. the tools the broom maker were cool. I hunted all around clay center as a kid and I have family all over that area but I didnt see any in your video. Hastings,Harvard and Bladen all are towns west of there my family is from also. Named my son Bladen where our family started. That thing Kelley is holding up is a goat or dog vise so you can milk em!
Hi Mark a friend of mine use to deal with antiques he's passed away now, but that's how i knew what the toaster was from being around him. but this really has me stumped don't forget to let us know what it is. when time is up. thank you
