This review sold me and I am ordering on next check. They are going to be strictly for gaming and will look amazing mounted on top of my PS5. Seriously thinking about the yellow ones for an excuse to get new faceplates.
@@ThomasMuehler I spoke too soon. No USB dongle so can't use it for PS5 but I found another that looks real promising. Soundcore VR P10. These look dope!
@@rodneybever9583 Bummer. Regardless, whatever you get I'm excited for you. As I always love getting new stuff to try out and experience. Would love to hear which one you end up with and your thoughts on them.
Great review! Overall would you say the mic is good enough? You sounded a bit like you were in a tunnel when you were testing .-I used wireless G930 Logi's BUT they are heavy AF.
Great question. Kind of hard to answer. I'd say yes, I think the microphone is good enough. As I find that it does make me sound a bit like I'm in a tunnel but my vocals are clear and easy to understand. I also think that will vary a bit based on situation. As some of my recordings sound better than others. Also, kind of depends on the actual purpose of them. Like if you are trying to use them professionally it may be better to get something more dedicated to the job (as just sounding better can make you come across as more professional and competent). But if it is for like friends and family definitely would be just fine. not sure how they are in loud environments though. As I didn't test that. I find a headset mic will likely give the caller superior sound just because it is closer to your mouth. With some sounding absolutely bonkers for the price. Such as the Corsair HS80 Wired. Which are also great for gaming. But are a bit heavy and maybe not the most comfortable. But the microphone is unreal.
@@ThomasMuehler Thank you so much for your reply. I use Plantronics 5200 for work . I was looking at these for gaming I really like the idea of not having to wear a headset
I bought one of these last year, loved it, sold it in favor of wired IEMs (I was getting into hifi), now getting a set again. Missed wireless buds, plus i switched to IEMs for tac shooters so its perfect again
I feel you. Been there myself. Tried expensive HiFi headphones, expensive gaming headsets, cheap headsets, IEMs, wireless earbuds, etc... all in the pursuit of the best sound to give me a competitive edge. I learned that it all comes down to that specific 'thing' that you are using and how it is tuned along with the game you are playing and how it is tuned. Moreso than anything else. Also, my ears are broken. lol
I really love these earbuds so much, but had to return them and look for a different pair due to the left earbud not turnings on even after charging it(first pair lasted over 2 years, 2nd pair lasted less then a day due to the left earbud not turning on as well). Did you get to keep them and had a similar problem?
To be honest, they aren't my main drivers so I don't use them as much as my AirPods Pro Gen 2. With that said I continue to not have any problems with them and they are like new.
I'm not really sure how to answer this. It works for PC games. If you want wireless earbuds I think this is a good choice. But I don't have a lot of experience to say where it fits compared to other wireless gaming earbuds.
I don't remember. I think I just put Edifier or Hecate into the app store search bar. I think it was like Edifier Connect App. And congrats! I hope you enjoy them.
What are your thoughts on “Gaming Earbuds?”
