Is this the correct version of Ramayana? Because, it is clearly mentioned that Lord Rama had asked Laxman to leave mother Sita in the forest without Sita knowing anything about such a decision.

I read Valmiki Ramayana. Don’t believe in movies and tv serials. Shrirama asked Lakshmana to leave Maa Sita at a safe location, not forest. Lakshmana dropped Maa Sita at Valmiki ashram. Do you know, Sathrughna was present at the ashram when Lava and Kusha were born. Movies and tv shows that the pregnant Maa Sita was left to struggle in the jungles. That’s not true. Lord Rama would never do that. There are many other misleading interpretations shown in movies and tv serials.

woman for generations to come , as this male-dominated society is ever ready to raise fingers on a woman’s character!! You have no idea what this divine couple has endured, so much of suffering, an eternal sacrifice made for guarding your beloved’s dignity as a woman by sacrificing your reputation as a righteous man is not easy!! Даже если брать ситуацию в современной Индии, женщины как были ничем и никем при нем, так таковыми и остались. Никакого уважения к женской чести, женской жизни, женской судьбе. Женщина - товар, прислуга. Женская жизнь не стоит и рупии. Рама был нужен только для убийства Раваны, но никак не для восстановления дхармы и защиты праведности своей же жены.

Shree Rama and Devi Sita were the Maharaja and Maharani of Ayodhya!! They had a greater responsibility towards their praja, hence their every decision cannot be taken only to protect their personal interests!!
And for your kind information, Shri Rama was born not only to slay Ravana but to re-establish Dharma, Maryaada and destroy paap from its origin itself!! Shri Rama had disguised himself as a common man and had closely observed that people had cast a bad sight on Devi Sita’s character!! Everyone had began suspecting her loyalty, and Chasity and doubted the purity of her love towards Shree Rama!! And the revolt of that dhobi casting aspersions on Devi Sita’s character was the last nail in the straw!! You put yourself in Shree Rama’s position and analyse this situation as a husband who tried hard to protect his beloved wife from this cruel world who would cast ill aspersions on her character, but failed ultimately as women in the society weren’t respected at all that time, rather they were treated like objects, men used to doubt their wife’s character and throw them out of their houses!! They used to be abused physically and were emotionally tortured too!! This was the pathetic situation of women not only in Ayodhya but the entire Aryavarta
With the Agnipariksha , Shree Rama deliberately acted indifferent towards Devi Sita as he wanted to unveil her divinity in front of the entire world, and that her character is as pure as the holy fire, hence he acted in such a way!! When Devi Sita decided to take an Agnipariksha, Shree Rama bore great agony and was quite helpless but to watch his beloved wife walk in the fire so that no one in the future casts ill aspersions on her character, and he feared separation from her!! When Devi Sita came out of the fire unscathed, everyone including the Vanar Sena, realised that she was no ordinary woman, even Agni Dev could not burn her, she certainly has to be Devi Mahalakshmi herself, Lord Mahavishnu’s beloved wife!!
And Shri Rama can never ever doubt Sita Devi as they are 2 bodies one soul!! No one can separate the sun’s rays from the Sun itself, nor can one separate the waves from the ocean itself!! Shri Siyaram are inseperable!!
Shri Sita decided on going for a 2nd vanvaas, you know why as Shri Rama and Devi Sita decided to put an end to the atrocities committed against women and end this ill mentality of men toward women once and for all!! For which they had to separate, to teach this harsh, and bitter lesson to the society that respect for women should be your foremost priority!! Shri Rama was the scion of Raghukul, he belonged to that great lineage where his ancestors had sacrificed their lives too to live up to their promises!! If he sacrificed his throne, Shri Rama’s one action would not only bring infamy to his clan but would have paved way for its destruction!! And Shri Rama as the Maharaja of Ayodhya was bound by his promise given to his people while taking the ceremonial oath as the King of Ayodhya!! In Raghukul, Praja Dharma is considered the highest dharma amongst all other secondary dharmas!!
Plus being the Maharani of Ayodhya, Devi Sita had to look after the welfare of women in her Rajya, alongside the entire Aryavarta as Shri Sitaram were Shri Mahavishnu and Devi Mahalaxmi themselves, they are responsible for the re-establishment of Dharma, Karma and Maryaada in the society!! How can they be selfish enough to only guard their own personal welfare
