Emily King just popped into my head when I saw a friend post something about supreme talents that are relatively unknown. I never saw this session though and it just struck me as Steely Dan-esque in the spacious arrangement where every note is deliberate and perfectly placed. Sublime.

I got into her from being on Jose James No Beginning No End album and wanted to know more about her because i loved how her voice sounded.....then I discovered her on TH-cam and fell IN LOVE with her....this is my second time this week watching these videos.....i love her look, the story of her growth, and I was like " oh Snap DAS who she is !!! " when I found out that she was the one who sang " walk in my shoes"....i used to LOVE that song !! I'm like all over this chick, my husband loves her......i would love to see her in concert.....i LOVE that she has a REAL BAND and its so rare these days......its so refreshing and they sound even better live, which is always nice. You go girl !!!
