Hmm... from what I recall at the end of Develon's stages at Everybubble... (SPOILERS) It appears to be true that he is just lonely and needs/wants friends and considering the conversation he had afterwards with you Bub should you and your friends succeed on beating all Develon's levels: He appears to be genuinely friendly and have seemingly at least for now: Lost interest on doing bad things and is instead more interested of creating new Puzzle Bobble levels for you and your friends to beat.

My goat, if it wasn't any more clear, this guy has been my favorite since PB4. I remember chatting once with my friend about Develon himself actually, my deep thinking once got me to think that loneliness might be fueling that need to conquer space because if he didn't, then what purpose would he have? Until he doesn't accept that he's in need of friends, he's pretty much going to stay perseverant on his current goal, but that doesn't matter much, if he stopped that would make Dev not be himself at all, besides the "power of friendship" trope has been overused to death so it's probably for the best. Ah, deep thoughts aside, I know I should be asking this for the usual QnA from this channel, however, there's a pretty low chance it'll happen, is it finally the time Develon will be in official art? I know it's spoilers but the game has been out for a few years now, it would be nice for him to finally get some attention as a fan myself.

悪者らしい要素は判りやすいけど、ここまで容姿がバブルンたちにそっくりなのはどうしてなんだろう…
マリオといいソニックといい会社のマスコットはなんか似てるライバルが必ず出てくるのはなぜなんだろう
最初はプレイアブルキャラで出て、後はボスキャラになるって結構珍しいと思う…それはそれとしてやっぱりどらんくとも相性悪い（笑）
