One of her best performances yet. you can feel the pain and the anger in her voice. An anger that is so familiar to anyone who has ever had his heart broken by someone who didnt deserved it after all.
It's probably cos of the pain she was in from her broken foot. Ha! Just kidding. She's one of few artists that actually sounds as good live as she does in records, if not better!

Feel so bad for her having broken her foot. She usually has such physical energy on stage and you can tell she wished she could've jumped up and danced here.
That song still gets to me the same way it did 2 months ago...I can't believe how much Florence has grown as an artist...And I find so much beauty in the tragedy that lies beneath WKOM that I simply cannot find a way to properly describe it.
Two years ago today, The Times 'Birthdays today' column listed a number of famous singers bur not Florence Welch, so I wrote to The Editor. Last year, Florence was included and today there is a photo of her at the top of the column. Happy 34th birthday Florence!

Dorothea Kirchner On the record, there are three to four, very different layers of guitar which make up the final product. Since this is a live setting, the band chose to go for a singular layer, which I do admit sounds rather different from the original track. But, if you have seen FATM's previous live performances: Flo treats every performance like a unique demo of the original song (hence almost every live version sounds different than the other, which is kinda amazing don't you think?).

Don't know if it's the medication for her broken foot or the pain of the foot itself but it looks like she's in real agony. Also I love the way the drumms kick in, like "let's tackle this feeling!"
