For as long as I can remember I never settled with random brokerages, I invest more effectively with professional assistance from an expert funds manager. Profits have been consistent and with his skills I don’t bother with the market complexities I just invest and take profits

Lately he just cashed in on the mother of all futures bet. I'm still trying to understand his tactics and strategies that leads to these outstanding successes.
One thing people need to understand is that if you want big profits, you have to invest big. That’s why us little guys have to learn not to spread our money too thin . So like these guys we have to do our homework and find good companies so we aren’t throwing good money at bad money if you know what I mean.

Well I feel that my comment is designed to make a comparison that most people can relate to. Some years ago I had an unfortunate accident where I was severely burned. While in the hospital I disagreed with a nurse about something ( can’t exactly remember what) and her response made perfect sense to me. You see I lived off the grid more years than not and am very good at it.Somewhat of an expert even. What the nurse had said to me was,” I don’t doubt that you are very good at what you do so I won’t attempt to tell you not how to do your job and would appreciate it if you didn’t try to tell me how to do mine.” That makes sense to me. Without a doubt the more we are exposed to doing a task the more likely it is that we’ll be able to do it better, easier, and quicker than those that haven’t had any experience at it. I hope that I have answered your question satisfactorily. If not please feel free to ask another perhaps clarifying it a bit more narrowly. Thank you for your response. That firm does in-depth research. They run around talking to people all over the place, and that's after fully mastering the fields of marketing and accounting. You can't be like Bill Ackman if you never use a spreadsheet to analyze companies, and they really know what to do, not sort of kind of. Get real. He and his people do real work.

That's what happened to me as well. I got a robinhood acct about a year and a half ago and just tossed a couple hundred bucks in. Never even looked at a stock chart prior to that and had no clue about any of it. Had to learn how to even make a purchase Never mind what to purchase. Well I started looking at ticker symbols and and checked all the well known names and those were expensive so something told me those are too expensive go look for something cheaper. So I clicked on the 52Low option, picked one that had a high 52H and a low 52L and was near the low. It was LGCY and I think it was .25 at the time so I used like 150$ all in and bough it. Well like 2 hours later I looked and it was at .58 cents and had hit .84. and was coming down hard. I immediately sold and made I think like 280 bux around there and at that moment I said "ok this is what I'm going to master". I owned a construction business so to make almost 300 in 2 hours from my house was like nothing id ever imagined. Still not a master but I trade full time now and I'm still obsessed.
Please tell me I'm wrong. I became a stock market investor because I've noticed such a downfall in the market aka a recession. Been buying low, and just waiting for now.

Definitely one of the best investors of all time. His 27 Mill cost basis to 2.6 Billion P/L in 30 days is absolutely insane. 100x return on a high cost basis is way off the IQ charts. It takes a decent amount of skill to pull a 10x or more return regularly during any market cycle using something like Options Contracts on brokers like Robinhood (one of the most popular Stock/Options Platforms), but Bill's on another planet.

There was a time around 2012 when facebook was trading a 15 dollars a share and everyone believe that it was time to sell because the company was doing poorly (Read Barron's article: facebook is worth 15), and Google has launched many programs that where a total failure, like "Google Plus" which was attempt to challenge social networks. That was a major failure too, and the list goes on and on...
@@toniif9941 Nothing you mentioned is a major failure. Because if it were, Facebook, Amazon and Google wouldn't be run by the respective founders anymore. Amazon and Alphabet are now trillion dollar companies.
Forgot an important rule.You need to have huge capital to make huge profit.All these people are hedge fund managers and cant emulate by a middle class man. He can't convert 10k to 1 billion.

I'm assuming that he didn't make those 54m with his salary, he started investing since he was young. And today, as we know, he made one of the biggest trades in history, making $2.6 billions.

Forgot an important rule.You need to have huge capital to make huge profit.All these people are hedge fund managers and cant emulate by a middle class man. He can't convert 10k to 1 billion.
Yet, that's what he did. Just like the video explained, he started Pershing Square Capital Management with his personal funds of $54 million. I'm assuming that he didn't make those 54m with his salary, he started investing since he was young. And today, as we know, he made one of the biggest trades in history, making $2.6 billions.
