- Mama Pam and I are back at the spring Lansing Doll Show today, it is always so much fun! This was filmed on March 12th, 2023. The Lansing Doll Show takes place at the Banquet & Conference Center of Dewitt. 1120 Commerce Park Dr, Dewitt, MI, every March and October. The doll show features antique & collectible dolls, toys, and related items.

Hi Amie! I love seeing all the vintage and antique dolls and I love that you take your time. 🥰 Kiddles are my absolute favorite to see along with any dolls still in their package. I had the Malibu Barbie and seeing the one in it’s box brought back the memory❤️. I also love Betsy McCall! She was before my time, but I have a friend who had her with all her beautiful outfits. 🥰

Hello Amie well I had a blast seeing all of those dolls and bears I love old dolls my Mom used to make the faceless pillow case dolls and she was going to give them to the grandkids well I refused because they would give them to their kids and they're destructive these dolls are 30 and 40 years old she embroidered on all the skirts and they're awesome tell your Mom I said hello !!!thank you for sharing your beautiful shop along!!!God Bless!!!❤️❤️

@@enamor_amie Amie, I just looked up a Madame Alexander doll that says, “Needs Restrung” in description. Does that mean it’s head is not connected? Oh, I think it means limbs are not connected? So you couldn’t really display nicely without glueing? I’m not it it for value- just the pretty, and the glue gun is more my wheelhouse. 😂Thanks💕
@@sawdust2556 so that would mean that the strings/elastic that hold the arms, legs and head tight to the body have stretched out making them loose and not attached. Im not sure if you can glue, Ive never personally tried to do that.

Loved your video. Always watch the doll show ones. Keep looking to see if any dolls I had show up. None so far. I am 77 now and unfortunately don't remember their names, but would know them If I saw them. Thank you for sharing.

Love the doll show...I really need to get to one..I have been making dolls for about a year..working on one of the art dolls from a class I took from Deanna Hogan...it's fun and work at the same time...I think growing up I had at least one of each doll...I had crissy doll and of course Barbies and Francie and Skipper and Madame Alexander doll ..don't forget Raggedy Ann..I could go on and on...I love all the vintage Easter and vintage everything..so when is the next show...

Love, love, love this video! I have 2 Patsy dolls myself so I enjoyed seeing the girl in pink. I also collect Vogue Ginny dolls. I wished the tags were showing so I could see their prices.
Thanks Pat! I will be going next again in October, I will try and focus on some of the Ginny dolls closely. Its very hard to show everything at these shows because they are so busy.

If you can ever find the THUMBELLINA Doll or the Baby Bess rubber head: cloth body with a baby cryer inside the body so when you tip it over...it cries...(please help me find a talking Catty Cathy with blonde hair and in the blue dress)...the with 1955 on the rubber backside of the head made by Knickerbocker ; Id be so Grateful...a Suzy Smart doll with the desk and chalk brd and the red & green plaid skirt and white blouse with black velvet tiny b⁹hevhsir dryer, rollers ...and manicure set all attached.
TO THE HARD PLASTIC HAIRDRYER ON A CHAIR ALL ATTACHED. THE GIRLS LIPS WERE CHERRY 🍒 RED & HER HAIR WASCA LIGHT AUBURN BROWN...her Dress was all white with fushia pink pin stripes.
