Gorges-Reinhard - 2022 Semi-Dry Riesling, Großer Hergott Vineyard

This is the 2022 Gorges-Reinhard Semi-Dry Riesling from the Wintrich, Germany in the Mosel Valley.
The "Großer Herrgott" vineyard is planted on slate soil with slopes of 30%-80%. This is ideal for the vines to soak in the sunshine (but makes it hard to maintain the vines!), develop ripe grapes, and mature into exceptional cool climate Riesling wine.
This semi-dry Riesling Late Harvest offers notes of pears, citrus and fresh minerals. Fruit and acidity are in harmony and a great mouthfeel and length makes this wine so unique.
