I love that you guys show the misses and failures because thats the reality for those of use who bow hunt public land in the western high country. Showing the misses and sharing the story of how and why it happened is how we all learn how to become better bow hunters. A thousand years ago we would have been swapping these stories over a camp fire angry that we will be going to sleep on an empty stomach, but driven by hunger and the will to survive we would have corrected our mistakes and tried again the next day. The 21st century bow hunters experience isn't as harsh and we use a computer to share those same stories and i think the message and the intent is still the same. But it also reminds us that as a bow hunter you can do everything right but the deer especially the mature public land high country Mule Deer can and will out smart you. This reality has humbled me as a hunter and made me slow down and take time to admire and respect these amazing animals and what it takes for them to survive and grow old. Thanks for another great video keep up the great work!
I dont remember what brand stove I used all season long but I will never forget that the Hush crew uses the 'Camp Chef Stryker' all day long. About 5 plugs per 15 minute episode thus far.
It really is a chess match. It's crazy how much thought that gets put into a hunt. I find myself talking to myself about wind patterns, where they're bedded, stalk, sit, create a blind or sit in a tree...???

Isn’t it illegal to use electronic communication to hunt with like texting where the deer are? I don’t care just wondering cause in Montana it is in the regs. You have to use hand signals
I was wondering about that too. Maybe it's legal there though. I was honestly just searching through the comments to see if I was the only one who was wondering that. 😂 I guess it's legal on that hunt though. 🤔

im 53 and im losing my patients! i used to sit a tree stand from dark to dark. but now i cant sit unless i see super fresh sign, animals, ect. i have to believe ill see animals that im looking for within shooting distance before i sit for very long! maybe thats the way i shoulda been hunting all along
I've only shot 2x3 mule deer. Honestly, just 2x3. It has become a joke in my house at this point, so I need to watch this video. I want to see what other 2x3 there are in the world so I can set my sights higher.
