The ending of the chapter is truly heartbreaking.I just can't get over the fact that he couldn't show the old man that he did come back. Even the old man didnt expect that. Now he could never know .😭😭😭😭
No one is gonna talk about how Derry became so much pessimistic because of his upbringing in such a toxic and judging society even his parents are demotivating him on the other hand Mr. Lamb was optimistic because he had no one around him certainly to criticize him all the time, he is all alone with nature and books which gives him the time to introspect within himself !!!
