Dankie baie. This is very useful video. Instead of “dit is ‘n plesier”, I usually hear “Dis n’ plesier”. Is it because it sounds like that due to fast pronunciation or is that grammatically accurate as well?
I speak Afrikaans as a home language and ive got to say you did pretty well. Yes we do like it when other people try to speak Afrikaans with us. Some of the spelling in this video looked strange to me and some pronounciations were a little off , but over all good job i enjoyed watching it.

“Dis” is a normal contraction of “dit is”, so it’s correct.
