Written pattern for whoever needs it!: Slip knot Ch 39 Skip first ch R1: 38 sc (38) R2: ch1, 38 sc (38) R3-36: ch1, 38 sc (34 rows) (38) *fold in half. Sc across the shorter side* Ch 1. Sc across.(18) Ch 1 and cut yarn. *start from bottom for other side* Insert into the bottom row and the opposite one. Ch 1. Sc in the same stitches and all across (18) Ch 1 and cut yarn

Hi!! I might be able to help :) Most likely you are missing stitching in the last stitch of each row. Very normal!! Make sure to count your stitches during each row - you should have the same amount every time. Another thing that can help is when you finish a row, put a stitch marker in the last stitch before doing a chain and continuing. I usually use a hair clip or bobby pin; then I can clearly see the last stitch of each row. I hope this helps!!🩷

If your taking about the starting chain then no it has to be that specific number, after that I'm not too sure. I am at the flap and forgot to count the no. For the sc but it turned out fine
Hi!! Each single crochet looks like a V from the top and from the front, looks like an upside-down V with a line on top. If you stretch your project for a moment, you might be able to see the spaces between the stitches depending on the yarn.

i love it so much but I have a great idea when you starting working(crocheting ) and you stop talking try to add a song to the video that can make the video better 💋
Keeping your yarn tight the whole time can help make your stitches all the same size, and making sure to count the stitches during each row to get the same amount every time can help too. Practice makes perfect 🩷
could be the tension, you have to keep it loose, but not too loose! or you've missed some of the stitches. make sure you have 38 stitches on each row. good luck!
