Thanks for the advise on avoiding common niche pitfalls, better to hear it now than find out the hard way! Love the extra value at the end of the video.
Optimising a store in depth requires an analysis of the store tbh. I have a few videos on how to optimise your website but it's best to jump on a discovery call with me and we can optimise your funnel. Book me in here calendly.com/theecomzone/30min
I've made a video on this but honestly, it's just a matter of finding that wow factor or problem-solving product and then building a niche store around it. There are so many smaller niches that you can build your store around. It just takes time to find and a lot of scrolling on AliExpress.
You need to understand your audience. Where do they buy? Can they buy your products elsewhere? Are there any products they want to buy without thinking much? Are there any wow factor products or problem solving products etc?
hey, are anime niche good? i know it's trending but can it be seasonal based on anime popularity? And pet niche, most products have low perceived value and could be found locally, is it still a good niche?
You will run into issues with copyright and trademark with Anime products. Sooner or later you will get shut down. Pet niche you can always find WOW factor products that you can't find down the road. You can always contact suppliers to check for new products or sort their products by new.
Personally I avoid stationery products as they're low AOV and you can pretty much find similar products anywhere. Although check out Notebooktherapy for inspo if you do want to commit to that niche.
@@Saerys-hi6mq I think I'll have to do another video on this but tbh just scrolling through AliExpress will help with inspiration. I found my niche by simply scrolling through my Instagram feed.
Hey Lon, I just launched my store (like 10 hours ago as of this comment) and am testing with $50/day with the goal to spend $500 in spend. I'm selling a high ticket item, but it's an electronic gadget for toddlers (hitting the double on your list in this video lol). To make the most of your time and mine, at what point do you think would be the best time to schedule a 1 on 1 call?
Hmmm probably best I review this product because you'll need to build trust and credibility with your site especially if it's a high-ticket item plus the fact it's for toddlers. I'm fully booked this week but you can schedule a Discovery call with me next week and we can go through your store and ad metrics.
I mean if you've gotten past the first hurdle of getting sales and becoming profitable then you're good to go. But for most beginners, getting past that hurdle within these niches is very difficult.
Hi bro, thank you so much. I have been taking your advice from your videos. In terms of supplies, what do we do when they ask my Whatsapp number? They say we can do payment through Whatsapp. I figure that maintaining a good relationship with suppliers is good, but how should we handle payment? Thank you.
Sorry for not replying bro, what did you end up doing with this? Personally I like to keep everything on the platform until you fully trust the supplier. You're protected by AliExpress but by sending payment off the platform, you won't be.

Correct, just something to keep in mind if you ever do build a store around these niches.
Learned my lesson with the skincare niche😭

What are your thoughts on the fishing niche? And how do you think it can effect whether you find a untapped product?
