- Had a great time at Black Country Living Museum 1940s Weekend. Re-enactors, vintage vehicles, memorabilia, stalls and wartime songs. An authentic step back in time to the Industrial years. I would thoroughly recommend this venue at any time of the year!

This event looks like many elders would like, but it is nowadays hard to dress up the same as in 1940, since it is 2021.
At 11:49 the little girl is actually me when I was younger I’m not even joking the lady in the blue dress was calling Ellen the father of the bride is my grandad Dave and the women next to me is my Nan

The event is for all, it is nostalgic for the mature, fun for middle age, educational for children and a time to chill, laugh and meet some very interesting people with amazing stories. You are not forced to dress up but finding 1940s fashion is very easy, especially with internet, however we are all grateful to you for taking the time to remind us what year it is.

I hope they didn't pay the singer and band, they sounded horrible 😳 However the event looks like so much fun 😀
