The 792P actually made it's public debut at Sebring in 1991. It did not run in the race but did some testing laps. IIRC the exhaust system had not been fully developed. Afterward they displayed the car behind the paddock. I took photos. Got 'em somewhere.
dang, i was about to say i love how Mazda's not shy about displaying the 787 and then i saw what looks to be either an Audi R8 or R10 and then i was like wait, the title DOES say this is a Classics/Historic race... 😎
