4minute were way ahead of their time. Volume Up would still be a huge hit today.

Whats unique about 4minute is, their song sound like boys song. That make 4minute song is wowww. Becoz all the girls group manage to cute concept. But 4minute sexy & hot hip hop. I wish one day 4minute will reunion😢
Volume Up is my favourite 4Minute song. The second generation girl groups were phenomenal.
Shoutout Miyusribbons for making you do this. I just did a binge stream of 4Minute today and DUDE they are so fucking good. This might be my favorite title track still, but they are so fucking talented and hot, and cool, and the music is so good and interesting and well produced and AHHHH!

And to think, Hyuna originally debuted with Wonder Girls in 2007 lol. But then she left the same year due to concerns for her health or young age, not sure.
It's too bad that with a powerhouse idol like Hyuna in this lineup, and the talents of the other members, that 4Minute couldn't grow as big as they could, mainly because Cube didn't promote the members very well, besides Hyuna, to the point that before today I could not even name any members besides Hyuna... X0

Aw man, 2009 was such a highlight year for K-pop, even though I didn't know about it yet, but even back in 2011 I would look up and watch some of the older live stages, and even in 2011 there were a few groups that performed some of their 2009/2010 hits! ;0
I guess you could try "Hot Issue" (their debut) or "Muzik", those are both from 2009, but overall I'm not too familiar with 4Minute's music so I'm good with any reaction lol :D
Yea HyunA debuting in Wonder Girls is crazy.. she was like what, 13 international age? That's literally insane lol. HyunA and Sunmi were in the same group. Makes no sense to me age wise.
Cube not promoting well.. ah yes. The good old Cube. Well actually, this is only Cube after CEO Hong left, before that Cube was doing amazingly.
I guess I really am a short hair simp now lol. But this is only true for older generations. The current 4th gen I don't necessarily feel like that's a thing for me anymore. Maybe because there is not as much sexy concepts anymore and those help for activating simp mode xD

Yeah, kind of weird to think about how Hyuna and Sunmi were in the same group at one point lol. But Hyuna being in WG was way before my time, so I'll always remember her for her time in 4Minute and as a soloist (and for Trouble Maker)
Well, Cube did well to promote Beast, not sure how/why they slipped up on 4Minute... :/
Haha, that's true, I wonder if/when sexy concepts might make a comeback XD And I'm curious if there will be any 2nd-gen groups that don't activate your short-hair simp mode XD
@@cru3ltmo There are other good songs from 4Minute besides the songs the OP mentioned, for example, HuH and Heart to Heart. The group had really good songs during the early years with Shinsadong Tiger. The group later collaborated with Brave Brothers which resulted in songs that I consider to be among the weakest Brave Brothers songs, except Only Gained Weight *no MV but this song was composed to celebrate Brave Brothers' anniversary*. In the last two singles, they did more EDM and trap kind of style with Western producers if I am not mistaken.

Ah yes this is one of their best, so a fitting reaction. If you liked this you will like Hate, get on the floor, you are a joke and whatever too. Unfortunately not all of them have MVs

@@cru3ltmo yeah I only recommended that “you’re a joke”because it’s one of my all time favorite kpop songs but it sadly it has no video since it’s a B side from 2009, but it has the intensity of title track like volume Up
